Why I Love Firefly Fans and also my friend's clever firefly promotion.

Ok, so i'm in this crazy two piece comedy rock band called Genitals Chicken (think the white stripes meet tencious D) check us out at myspace.com/genitalschicken anyway shameless self plug aside, i usually wear my 'blue sun' shirt or my 'fighting elves' shirt or i put my 'Serenity' pin on my guitar strap, whenever we play. i do this as a test to see if there are any firefly fans in the crowd, we've been playing out often these past couple of months, and i never recieved any feedback on the shirts, well last week we played in philadelphia and right before we played i was having a beer and a couple of people came up to me and mentioned they liked my 'blue sun' shirt and that they loved firefly, we proceeded to talk Serenity and Firefly right up until we had to play.

moral of this story is, after we were done playing, those browncoats made me feel like a million bucks, they bought my drinks and complimented the hell out of me,i have faith in my band, but i doubt we were as good as they were
saying. it was just browncoats supporting another browncoat. have i told you all how much i love you?

also one more side note, a friend of mine who is a 10th grade english teacher told her class that if they see serenity and write a paragraph about it, she'll give them extra credit! hahaha, how awesome is that?

Too Shiny, Xander. I'll have to tell my fellow Browncoat/coworker Zip about your experience as he plays in a band also. I would like to see if he would get a reaction around here (Nashville) like yours.

Anyway, I'm not surprised, Browncoats taking care of Browncoats is what we're all about. Thanks for sharing.
