May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I am so psyched for the premiere! Our local group is going to get together to see the movie & have drinks afterwards. Most likely will see it a couple times that night. I know I plan to see it 5 or 6 times over the course of that weekend.

With only 2 weeks to go, y'ad THINK that we'd know the showtimes by now, wouldn't you? But Fandando says, no, not yet...cripes. Holding up my "Serenity" movie planning.

Maybe it's time to unpack the ol' tent and head down to the multiplex, make a nuisance of myself...

I think I'll be seeing it on Monday! (I've posted this already but I think we've got an advance screening here in the UK. They aren't telling what we're going to see but it's a Universal Film and they used the word "shiny" in the offer) So, if it is Serenity, I'm a very happy camper.

"Define 'interesting.'" "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna' die?"

Isn't there another on-line movie ticket buying service other than Fandango? For the sneaks, weren't people going to some other site to get tickets?

I believe the answer to the question I already know the answer to is "yes".

Already seen it twice. Well, one screening and one early preview right before DragonCon.

Why would I want to see it again? Maybe check out the DVD when it comes out. But I alreay know how the movie goes.

To support the movie of course drag your friends to go see the movie with you so that there can be a sequel. I've seen it 2 times also, but I'm gonna take everyone I know with me. Every little bit helps, at least that's what I'm hoping

Thoughtful Browncoats (and patient ones, and those of you who've seen preview screenings) might consider waiting to see the BDM until its second weekend in release in order to do what we can to reduce the inevitable dropoff in attendance. Keeping Serenity in theaters for an extra week or two will ratchet up the movie's box office take -- even if only incrementally by week eight, when it's playing in the shoebox with the tattered upholstery and sticky floor at the end of the hall, by the emergency exit and loading dock, and the print has been patched together once too often so it gets all fluttery and the projectionist's fingerprints are burned in during a crucial scene -- thereby increasing the likelihood of the studio greenlighting the sequel(s).

Of course, the optimal behavior pattern for the truly dedicated Browncoat with sufficient disposable income would be to patronize your local movie emporium on a weekly basis... Vote early if you must, but vote often if you can.
