Just between us Browncoats (shhhh don't tell anyone else) but did anyone enjoy the series alot more than the movie? I liked the movie, for sure, and will be seeing it multiple times, but I liked the series better.

Also I miss Badger and I cannot stand that Mr. Universe guy.

Am I all alone in this?

It's definately different, and mr universe is probably the cheesiest character. I would prefer another season of FF to the movie serenity too but IMO serenity is a very good movie. Doesn't mean that it's a good substitute for weekly showings of FF, but at least we have more stories from the verse.

I didn't much like Mr. Universe, either, but he died and that's okay then. None of my nitpicks with the movie involve Mr. Universe.

The movie was better than some episodes, not as good as others, maybe. But it was bigger than all of them, and I felt it was worth the price of admission.

I hope to see more of them.

SPOOKYJESUS

The last half hour is killer.

I found the movie to just be a really long episode of the show - like a season finale to a season that didn't exist.

I found that the movie complemented the series - it is an extension of it. I think that the characters felt more at home on the TV show but the fact that they found themselves behaving for a different medium made them a feel little truer to the situations that they face.

I pity people who see the movie before they see the show though.
