Surprisingly, or not, I go to most of those sites everyday too. The exceptions being DigitalSpy, EuroGamer, and MediaGaurdian.

In their stead I frequent silly places like StrangeFinger.com, Syncophanthex.com, and engadget.com.

btw, I noticed a review for The Outsiders DVD on one of the sites. This was written and filmed in Tulsa, my home. When I was a wee lass, Coppola and crew came to town and shot the movie not far from where I lived. You can see many of the places I knew in my youth. I now live in a nicer part of town, but if you're interested in what this place looks like, there's a good start.

It's kinda cool when you can see the places of your youth in a film, yep. The one that gets mine is the rather forgettable Jaws II; the film's a dog but the scenery's a nice nostalgia thing. One of my high school buds even landed a job as an extra doing sailing scenes. Lucky stiff.

Just woke up after sleeping off a Firefly marathon with my wife. We watched Jaynestown, Out of Gas, Ariel and War Stories in rapid succession, and wanted more but it was very late by then and we were dragging heels. Gotta get the tanks topped off for BDM weekend!

gad, life is busy

no time to read this thread or the last dozen - traumatising though!

I had a crunchie yesterday, it was very exciting. I nibbled the end off and then slid the chocolate off of the smooth sides and then bit the nice thick sides before eating the honeycomb - yummy!

so, is there any news?

I consider your description of that crunchie to be chocolate porn.

I want a crunchie dammit.

The Outsiders? Never actually watched it but it sounds interesting. Nothing has been filmed round here except the movie version of Porridge.

Hmm, a Crunchie eh? I could wander down to the shops and buy one for myself. Or maybe even a dozen. But then again, I might not.

And we actually have chocolate porn in this country. Surprisingly popular.

*returns from shopping trip*

Hey everyone, I brought you all... oh dear. Never mind, I seem to have left all the Crunchies in the store where I bought them. That's a shame. Never mind, I guess I could pick up another dozen tomorrow.

That's the nice thing about them being at every local store. So convenient.

Hmm, not evil enough.

No, wait, that's still not evil enough. Aha!

Oh freddled gruntbuggly,
Thy micturations are to me
As plurdled gabbleblotchits
On a lurgid bee.
Groop, I implore thee, my foonting turlingdromes
And hooptiously drangle me
with crinkly bindlewurdles,
Or I will rend thee in the gobberwarts with my blurglecruncheon
See if I don't.

Dear Evil One,

We were insane before we joined this lovely thread. However, you may claim some responsibility for our unholy need to hogtie doctors and demand creme eggs.

Cordially,

Did you know that Douglas Adams initially used the name of a real poet (possibly bad) in the original HHGttG for the Universe's worst poet but she took legal action and he had to change it to a made-up name.

Paula Nancy Millstone-Jennings?

That's the one I remember, anyway. Could've remembered it wrong.
