Funnily enough, I hadn't even considered reaching Inara-level! At the moment, I'm aiming for Mal in his pretty floral bonnett level!

Oh, sweety, no-one can achieve Inara level - she is on a planet of her own and was created by God to make the rest of us look bad. You have a fabulous figure though - great boobs, great hips, why not go for a corset and sexy skirt -you would look fantastic and wouldn't have to go to the nasty trendy shops and battle with the size 8 teenagers who wouldn't know a good pair of breasts if they grew them.

Oh, and stop with the Mal and pretty floral bonnett talk - the guy is sex no matter what floral attire he is in and you will never get to those levels - well not for me..oh god, no, I am dissing a browncoat..honey, you can have me if you want me *gulp*

Whilst being nigh-on devastaed that you won't be there, does this mean that the rest of us are excused from slinkyness? I feel it would be in a poor taste for us to dress up & fun without you!

I remember trying to persuade you and Jaina to go for the full-on look before Carol joined our ranks (I can't believe Carol isn't going to be there for Bond - arrrgghhh) and remember resorting to accepting you in Henchmen outfits. I would love to Emma, unfortunatly I'm in Munich way down south, so its a bit of a trek to get to the Netherlands .
I'm quite ill today, so I missed out on the big day trip which I'd already paid for, which isn't so great...

Anyway, anyone want anything brought back?

Do you have to go somewhere to be measured/fitted first?

I'm most impressed by the delivery/pickup service. The nearest tux rental place over here is over an hour's drive round trip, and is small and crowded with long waits if there's a large event going on like a high school prom. Average rate is just over US$100 for 3 days, if you don't go wild with accessories or deluxe options.

No, you have to measure yourself (aaaarr!!).

Alternatively, I do have a suit. Could go with that option, with a nice shirt I didn't realise I had. No tie though, which isn't that much of a problem. A nice, modern-looking suit worn casually is quite Bond-ish these days anyway.

Ah. I got the James Bond part, just not how it was relevant to things Serenity.

I'm struggling to restrain myself after reading a Firefly-related post over on the Television Without Pity web site. This is what gets me wanting to check the charge on my flamethrower:

Quote:

I finally saw Firefly on Skiffy and I have to say that it's quite easily the dumbest show concept ever misconceived.

A Space Western complete with six shooters, gingham clad extras and the captain of a space ship talking like a mid-eighteen century prospector? What a load of crap!

The characters are all rip-offs from Wheedon's other series, the FX is TV low-budget and the premise is ridiculous. I rather doubt that the big screen version of this turkey will fly.
