Assuming I'm not alone here, can we get a consensus on where we will be seeing the BDM? Does anyone know all the where/when/etc?

Nope, not alone. I live here in the STL area (St. Charles), and know several fellow Browncoats.

I'd given some thought to movin' off the edge -- not an ideal location -- thinkin' a place in the middle.

Good news, glad you're out there!
I have managed to get a good crew worked up for this (3 sets of DVDs in circulation) between friends and coworkers. When and where are you planning to see the BDM?

This isn't a plug, but friday the 30th, we'll be at the Archon convention, screening our own feature "Guardian Of The Realm".

We hope to catch the BDM earlier friday afternoon, and for sure saturday night (and sunday night, and as many times as we can).

Just saw this, so there may be a few out there yet like myself that haven't checked in yet.

If that nice AMC out off Olive has it, I'll probably go there, unless we totally luck out and it's at the Megaplex out there in Chesterfield (which is awesome; 4x normal screen size rocks- I saw Sin City and F4 out there)

I plan on going as early as I can get in; I'm off that day. Yay!

Nope your not alone here. I have a large legion of Browncoats that are accompaning me Friday night. I don't know where we'll end up. I converted a large number of my SLU friends and others probably about 20 in all Freshman year, as well as family and friends elsewhere. Let me know if there is a small but loyal band headed somewhere and we might join ya'll.

My one man campaign to get the BDM at the Moolah seems to have failed. I was planning to see it at Ronnie's since there is sooo much room there. We will bring 10 to 20, depending on timing, where ever we go....

I joined http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/browncoatsstl/
yesterday and have posted a hello there.

*waves* Another Browncoat from St. Charles here. I have no clue where I'll be seeing it, since I can't get a straight answer on when and where it's showing, but my fiance and I are trying for Friday night, of course. I have to be there for the premiere.

It would be WAY awesome if it was on the Megaplex screen, that's what we're hoping for. I'll be checking on Tuesday, since the manager there said that's when they'll know which movies are showing on the BIG screen.

It's has to be screening at the Wehrenberg St. Charles 18 Cine. With that many screens, it's all but a sure thing. It will also more than likely be showing at the Mid Rivers 14 Cine.

I think a large band of my converts and other Browns will hit something like the Galleria or the Chase. Don't know when and stuff, but should be quiet a large group of us, i'm guesing around 20 of us total.

It has to be at least at the St. Charles Cine, and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be at Mid Rivers (though I avoid that place like the plague, working there as I do).

I'm just frustrated because I want to buy tickets NOW and they don't have any times on the Wehrenberg website, the buggers.

Okay, it's Monday and I'm starting to get scared. Wehrenberg is only showing that some theatre in freaking Springfield MO premieres the BDM on Friday night.

None of the websites that tell you when and if movies are showing has anything about it within a rather big radius of St. Louis.

Could we be getting screwed here?

This must be what going mad feels like.

You're right: it is getting scary. I know it IS showing at Galleria and NOT at Chase ( www.stlouiscinemas.com)
AMC claims it's not showing at any of their theatres ( www.moviewatcher.com)
It's NOT showing at the Landmark theatres--Tivoli, Hi-Pointe, Frontenac ( www.landmarktheatres.com)
AND can't get ANY info from Wehrenberg ( www.wehrenberg.com)
So, please, fellow St. Louisans, post where as soon as you find out. (Surely, Galleria can't be the only site) Thanks!

Well, a manager at the Galaxy in Chesterfield DID say that, unless it's a superhuge blockbuster, they usually don't know showtimes until at least Tuesday.

I'm refreshing the Wehrenberg website every so often, and will definitely check at midnight to see if something has happened.

I won't be in complete all-out panic until tomorrow.

This must be what going mad feels like.

Alrighty, my fiance emailed Wehrenberg and asked:

"I was wondering if the movie "Serenity" will be showing at anyof your theaters in the St. Louis/St. Charles area."

They replied: "It sure will. Please check our website tomorrow afternoon for confirmed
theatres and showtimes."

That's a huge frakin' relief.

This must be what going mad feels like.

Hola, another STL Browncoat here... just caught wind of the thread.

I've been eagerly awaiting the showtimes for this weekend, wondering if there would be a midnight showing (probably not).

Anyway, good to see some locals on the board.

We have a smallish group of 5 going to a 9p/10p show at Ronnies. We decided to do dinner at El Maguey's first, then get in line (although tix will be bought as soon as humanly possible).

I, myself, will probably see it at least one more time over the weekend, and probably two.

Can't wait!

Times are up for the Megascreen at Chesterfield! w00t! I bought tickets for the 3:30 showing, we like to go as early as possible. Might not be as fun without a rowdy group o' Browncoats, but it'll still be an awesome ride, especially up on that Megascreen.

It's also showing at Ronnies (although only on 1 screen, more's the pity). Evening times are 7:25 and 10:15. Not sure of day showings.

I'll probably be going to the AMC Esquire at the 7:20, since I live about 2 blocks away. There should be at least three of us from Concordia Seminary there. I can't wait!

By the way... the seating at the Esquire is not stadium, unless they have done a major renovation in the last 2 months that I haven't heard about.

I'll be headed there with all my Browns, should be one hell of a group if all check in and can make it. Showtimes at the Galleria are at
Fri Sep 30, 2005 (1:20), (4:20), 7:10 & 9:40
Tue Oct 04, 2005 (2:05), (4:35), & 7:10
Wed Oct 05, 2005 (2:05), (4:35), & 7:10
Thu Oct 06, 2005 (2:05), (4:35), & 7:10
Believe we'll be at the 9:40 show so we don't have to deal with traffic to make the 7:10 show.

I have a group of about 4 going out to the showing at Chesterfield on the Mega Screen at 10pm. I know that a friend of mine and I are also heading to Archon that weekend, so we know there will be discussions about all of it all this weekend.
