I don't think this has been posted yet - I read an interview with Joss Whedon in the New York Times today, and I am *miffed*! About halfway through, the NYT asked an extremely spoilerish question, and I now know something I really really really didn't want to know. Gorram press! They should be more careful.

That's all. I just needed to vent and share my frustration.

Without spoiling it, will this really alter how much you're going to enjoy the BDM?

I watched all of the seasons of Buffy knowing all the major plotlines, and I still enjoyed them immensely. Knowing this spoiler will change the way I enjoy the BDM, but I think I'll still like it. I can't wait until Friday, when we can all discuss the movie openly. Until the spoilers for Serenity 2 start coming out...

Same here with Buffy. I'm so tempted to go right to the spoilers for Serenity, but I won't.
See you here after Friday!

Can I make a plea here? That we hold off on open discussion of the film for at least the first couple of weeks? Remember, the movie doesn't open world-wide on the same day; also even with the best of intentions there will be folks who simply cannot get to the BDM opening weekend.

VERY good point, Lady Shelly!

Maybe all spoilerific threads should start or end with 'SPOILERS' for the first month.

Not everyone will be BDM'd simultaniously!!!

Also. NO spoilers in thread titles like:
SPOCK IS BADGER'S FATHER!!??!!

Well, you know what I mean...
