FREEBIES for Browncoats in Liverpool, England

As a sci-fi retail outlet and staunch supporters of Firefly/Serenity,we here at Forbidden Planet in Liverpool City Centre are running a Serenity promotion during the month of October.

As such, UIP have sent us some promotional items for window displays and so on.

What we so far have are mini-posters, carrier bags and postcards (in sets of 5 different designs) with the promise of some other promo items to be sent to us later this week.

What we're willing to do for fellow Browncoats in the area (or those who can make the trek to us from afield) is, other than sell 'em lots of shiny Serenity merchandise, is give some of this stuff away for FREE!

All you need to do is come to the store during opening hours (9.30am - 5.30pm), ask at the counter for Chris or Ste (the two Brownest Coats in the store...), let it be know to them that you saw this post at this website and they'll hand over some of the goodies!

1 lot per Browncoat, I'm afraid...these are limited supplies and we want to stretch them as far as possible - we don't want any cheese-weasels coming along and snaffling up handfuls to hoard or try to sell-on for profit! If your 'friends' want some stuff too, then they'll have to come along and collect themselves!

The first few lucky visitors may even recieve a free cinema-sized quad poster while stocks last!

It remains to be seen what else we get, but t-shirts and branded USB memory sticks (!?!) have been mentioned...

could some international fans order stuff from you and pay to have it shipped? because I would *LOVE* to get a UK poster and definetly wouldn't mind paying for it. if it's possible, email me ( luckyspencer7 AT yahoo DOT ca ), and if not, it's still very cool of you to do that for fans :D
