Husband and I are going again this weekend, so there's two tickets. A friend just got back from a trip to Hong Kong, so that will be three tickets next weekend.

Went opening night and took seven people--two fans, one complete newbie, the rest sort of familiar with Firefly. Went the next day with son and girlfriend, and the next day with other son. Everyone loved it! Am going again this weekend and taking anyone who wants to go. Maybe once today and twice tomorrow. I've also talked it up at work and found someone who had seen Firefly, but didn't know that Serenity was based on it. She and her mom will probably see it.

So I'll keep seeing it and talking it up as long as it's around, and then I'll push these same people to buy the DVD when it comes out.

Leaving for the bargain matinee in about an hour and fifteen, my fourth viewing, my wife's second. And I think I talked at least three co-workers into seeing it this weekend.

And don't forget to save your stubs; the official site has a raffle going for a cast-autographed poster, and your ticket stubs dated this weekend are your raffle tickets. Check out the Universal site for details.

This is crucial. Serenity only brought in $1.56 million yesterday, at 9th place! That is very bad. We need to turn up at theaters in force and multiply our presence by buying extra tickets. So, please, everyone who can should be out there again tonight and tomorrow, buying extra tickets if they can! If things keep sliding, I may buy a ticket to every matinee showing at my local theater tomorrow.

I bought two tickets for myself when i went yesterday, and planned to do the same thing today. Well, until i mentioned to my mother how i'm heading back up to the theater later and explained the situation, which prompted her to remark "Well, why don't you just buy like, ten, fifteen tickets? They're only four and a quarter."

She may not be a browncoat, but she clearly supports our cause.

I bought 2 tickets for myself when I went last night. I'd like to go again today, I just don't know if it's going to work out.

I saw it opening (last) weekend, twice (both times with my brother, and father). This weekend, so far, I have seen the BDM twice, the first time with my father, brother, and friend, and the second time with another one of my friends, her brother, and her father. I'm planning on seeing it again tomorrow with my brother and father. It's been a wild ride. That's a total of 5 times and 14 tickets so far. I have also offered to pay for several people's tickets if they bring me their ticket stubs. Ah, i love showing people the shiny world of Firefly!!!

keep flyin' travelers,

My dad and I dad got 2 tickets, best $20 dollars I ever spent on a movie... or my dad ever spent, same difference.

First time I ever heard about firfly was last weekend when one of my fanatic friends managed to drag me along, then I borrowed the dvd from him and watched it in one day.

glorious times, my friends

I saw the movie yesterday with 3 friends, and even though I wanted to see it again tonight, I couldn't. However, I purchased a ticket anyway. ;) Am I crazy? ;)

Hello, I just joined so I'm new here. I just went today for the second time with the boyfriend. First time went with 4 people at City Walk. It was very exciting, and definitly well worth it. I don't think I can go again, but if I had the opportunity I would in a heart beat.

Saw it opening weekend with 3 family members (4 tickets)
Saw it again friday, and brought a group of 6 friends (7 tickets)
Saw it again sunday night with my daughter and one of her friends (3 tickets).

Total tickets: 14

My son wants to see it again, so we'll go again this week, and probably take a couple of his friends (4 more potential tickets).

Frankly, this is the first movie I've wanted to see more than one this year. Even with Star Wars III and Batman Begins, I only saw them once!

I needed a week from the first viewing to think about the "Big Spoiler", but I'm glad I went again. This movie gets better every time I see it!

I'd given some thought to movin' off the edge -- not an ideal location -- thinkin' a place in the middle.

For my second viewing yesterday, I did my civic duty and brought a friend (defying the Powers that sought to prevent such ) who was familiar with Firefly (cuz he'd had no choice when he was over at my place ), but he's become increasingly jaded by the "same old" movie fare, so he doesn't impress easily.

When The Operative says, "This is a good death," my friend let out a "Daaaaaaaang!" and I knew he was hooked (so I wouldn't have to check to see if he was dozing quite as often).

After the movie, he said "Worth the wait. Worth the price."
