SUNDANCE

In case you didn't spot the top - MAJOR Spoilers ahead - don't spoil urself!!

Hey all just a quickie post to say that i absolutely loved the BDM! Can't put into words what a rollercoaster of emotional highs and lows that movie experience was - but it sure was fun! Can't wait to go see it again, and then again and then some more - everything else i've watched since has just not been up to scratch, even my sunday avvo "They were Expendable" John Wayner - imagine!

Big on the laughs, big on the crys, big on the audience reacting in the same way at the same time, who'dve thunk big ol Jayne would get an "awww" from the entire audience after "well i might" absolutely freeking brilliant! To all the team - what a brilliant job, stories, acting, general heart-breaking and i could go on - but you get the idea! All to the good!

Also how unprepared was i for Wash (nooooo! but he has the dinosaurs and the shirts and he IS the crew damn it!) All along i thought i knew Joss would kill off a couple of key characters - such is the way, 'cause it hurts so bad but that is what makes it such great viewing. I came out of the cinema going "i can't believe they killed wash", still getting over it. Won't be the same without him, but i guess that is the point hey!

My only criticism is that a couple of gags i had seen sooo many freeking times in the ads that i just couldn't laugh at them: the whole "security password" thing - yep seen it like a million times and the "oh god, oh god we're all gonna die" yep kinda did nothin' for me, unfortunately - but luckily the man with the loudest laugh in the world was sat v.close by and managed to laugh on everybody else's account (nearly had a word!).

But these are minor piffles - what an achievement, what a story, what a crew! I will die happy having seen this - lets hope there's a future out there for these guys 'cause i would love to see what happens next.

B careful out there gang!
Have a great day.
xxxxxx

DONCOAT

Great comments, Sundance!

Had the same reaction as you did to the lines from the trailers, especially "Well... you can't!"

Oddly, that line still got laughs in the theater at most of the (4) showings I've been to. Sometimes I think people laugh at those lines, even though they've heard them in the ads, because they think they're supposed to.
