What about finishing Season One? Thoughts?

Finishing Season 1 would basically just be filling in the 6 months between Objects in Space and Serenity (BDM).

While I think it's a good idea, realistically you could only do that for one season (or 2 Sci-Fi channel seasons) before you'd have to meet up with the movie.

Of course, I imagine Joss would like to have that problem.

Hell, why not?

Get Sci-Fi to buy into 12 episode seasons. After 1 or 2 seasons, when they need to move past that 6 month block, have the next season be post Serenity (BDM) and Sci-Fi could show the movie the week or two before the new season began.
