Just got back from a fourth shiny helping of BDM goodness and realised that four times is a joint record for seeing one movie at the cinema for me.

I went to see Star Wars:Episode I - The Phantom Menace, Star Wars:Episode II - Attack Of The Clones, Star Wars:Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith four times each and now our very own BDM.

I am expecting most of you guys to have seen Serenity more than four (and no doubt I will see it again ) but was just wondering how many times you have seen the same film at the cinema.

Oh and being a youngling you have to state whether it was during the original run or after a special anniversary release ie The Exorcist or Star Wars:Episode IV - A New Hope.

Very sure I would have flocked to see Star Wars on original release, had I not been minus 4 years old

The most i've seen a movie is the Matrix:Reloaded(5 times)... cuz i was weak and had to many friends that wanted to see it. Damn that Matrix votex of suck. But i guess you have me beat, by having seen the crappy SW movies so much.

also i've see the BDM 4 times now,but i need to save money for computer parts

Guess that makes 7 times total, w/ a date for at least one more.

Saw Jurassic Park probably 5 times in the theatre. I'd have seen Fellowship of the Ring more, but four was enough...those are damn long movies!

Before Serenity, the most times I'd seen the same movie in theaters was the first Lord of the Rings (3 times). Not counting pre-screenings or press screenings I've paid to see the BDM five times (+ 2 tickets that I bought for fans to be there in spirit). I plan on seeing the movie a few more times before the end of the first month.

I've seen it 3 times. My record was 4 times for Speed and Titanic. I'd go see Serenity 5 times, but I have a baby now and it's hard to just take that kind of time out.

So that makes at least six times. But I'm evil I'll buy tickets to see Serenity and then go watch other movies.

Does that make me a bad person?

Oh come on Noskillz, ok even I cringe at some points during the prequels but I grew up on Star Wars, watching them daily from a young age. You can't just abandon that love for a slightly inferior trilogy.

Besides it gave us some cracking scenes that will be remembered at cult status for a long time such as the Boonta Eve Pod Race.

Has any one dared try that again (other than Joss???)

Leave it to this guy to see it the most times I've heard of. lol jk Matt, jk. Its incredible you've seen it that many times. Sadly, I've only gone twice. But I'm going again tomorrow night. 3 Friday nights in a row. The most I've ever gone to see a movie in the theater was Titanic. I saw it 3 times. So its going to be tied with Serenity, until I go see it for viewing number 4.

Mal: Define interesting.

I just can't stop myself! It's so much fun!

Titanic is so sad. Its a good movie. I had to sneak in to see that, cos I was too young.

Tonight should be number ten for me!

3 times myself. 4th time this weekend. Have made 2 fanatical converts who in turn will make more (I imagine). Prolly make more soon as my FF DVDs are done making the rounds.

Resistance is futile.

No such thing as gravity. The "Earth-that-was" just sucks.
