Okay, I don't KNOW Sean Maher, but I still like you better. Cuz you're funny and teach me all about British stuff and have you gone to the Dr yet?

Well, you are only Human .
And no, not been to doctor, haven't had time to ring 'em.

Sean, there is no way I am letting you have a military wing armed by monkey ninjas. They are possibly the most useless things ever - i have yet to see them win a fight. Upgrade them immediately!

Careful, Emma, I may be tempted to release the terrible forces of my Pigarks, Sumo Gorrillas and Kung Fu Cocatoo's against you!

oh, did you ever see this:

Whale gas and ninja monkeys

After years of oppression, it seems Nature is fighting back.

Australian scientists have announced another technological triumph -- the world's first photograph of a whale in the act of farting. However, such research is not without its risks, according to participant Nick Gales. "We got away from the bow of the ship very quickly ... it does stink," he reportedly gasped.

On the subcontinent, Indian security forces have hired a monkey catcher to protect the Prime Minister from hostile primates. In the meantime, innocent Australians continue to be targeted in deadly magpie raids.

My own studies indicate the emergence of yet another threat to humanity -- the rise of the Swiss Army Ant.

I will seek and find you.
I shall take you to bed and have my way with you.
I will make you ache, shake & sweat until you moan & groan.
I will make you beg for mercy, beg for me to stop.
I will exhaust you to the point that you will be relieved when I'm finished with you.
And, when I am finished, you will be weak for days.

All my love...

I second the motion.

And, oh please, are we not going to have the Marmite/Vegemite wars again?

They have Marmite at the british grocer. It looks nasty. Kinda semi translucent and brownish greenish. And what's it made out of? Fermented vegetables.

I think I'll stick with the marmalade. It goes nicely with tea.

Well, I worked 9-5 today, and I was really, really hyper. And I still got loads of work done!

And my phrase of the day has been "Oh my god you're like sooo Trevor McDonald!" in Vicky-Pollard fashion.

But I still got loads of work done.

Then, in the last 5 minutes of my shift...you'll never guess what happened!

My trousers split!

Yep, thats right, in true tightpants fashion. It was kinda a lil embarrassing.

Then I went to the cinema with my friend Nat, and my other friend Leanne (who I sorta have a crush on) and we had the most hilarious time. We saw Nanny McPhee (which was very good, I love emma thompson) and sang loudly to the radio on the way home.

And now I'm too hyper to go to sleep!

PR-sounds like a fun day!

Piff-can you kick people on the very tippy top of their heads?

Mai-spiders don't bother me so much. It's the really big cockroaches that get me

Emma-definitely TMI-have fun in England. Eat lots of good chocolate!

NS-I saw the commercial, too! And it is the same one for 20 yrs ago.

Rel-today any better than yesterday? The computer guru here came last night and reset everything on my computer and now I can't get into Outlook express to check my work email and I've had to reset everything the way I like it. It's rather like someone coming into your living room and rearranging your furniture. It's kind of frustrating.

SW has been gone a long time. I miss him and his evil ways. And his pants.

EB-you've made yourself right at home. Yay!

This Ash of whom you speak isn't the same Ash as our XandlerLHarris Ash is it? And why would this Ash's name offend me?

I've forgotten someone or something, I'll come back to it.

I've had to set up my email, bookmarks, programs and all the setting to go with it 5 times in the last 8 months... big pain in the buttocks.... but i've figured out a trick to help it along. Backups. Basically if you backup the stuff here (C:\Documents and Settings\*insert user name here*)it should get all your outlook/explorer/etc. settings. Even the emails on your computer.

anyways, to go with the randomness again. Anyone have Ideas on how to stay up all night??

Oh yes, Liminalosity are you in need of an initiation task?

First off, can I just call you limin? I'm gonna misspell it if I don't nickname you.

Okay, now, an initiation task:

Write for us, please, a story of no less than 50 words, with the title "The Random Elves of Chocolate Land." Post said faerie tale in at least 3 random threads (excluding the Secret Hidey Hole of the Nice Boys and any thread with the word "Serenity" in its title). Post links to threads here.

Now, did Piffle ever get an initiation task?

I didn't have sororities or the like at my college (not that I would joined one have anyway) so this is extra fun for me.

"Frustrating" is a word I am currently familiar with. Also "dejected".

The computer in question is somehow lacking several important, nay vital, applications. We should be able to restore them from the backup... but I don't know how.

My boss has phoned the people who supplied the Big Important Software to see if they can help, even though it's not their sort of thing to be helping with; it's just they know far more about UNIX than I do.

Either they tell me what to do over the phone (an idea I'm not at all comfortable with for reasons of paranoia over getting it wrong) or we wait for them to send someone on Friday.

In the meantime, the entire organisation is still incapable of doing any work.

I just want the week to end so I can go home and blow the pixellated shit outta stuff on my PC. I need my therapy.

NS-Normally I would, but I can't on my computer because we have a network that does all the backing up of the stuff. If Computer Guru had been a thoughtful type of person, he would have done the backing up of my settings. But he's more concerned with making the network work than making sure that my screensaver stays the way I like it.

But we're dealing with all kinds of other difficulties, too. He uninstalled my printer on the pastor's computer. We've tried to reinstall, but we can't seem to get it to print, and no one can print to the copier so the Pastor's printer-less at the moment. We're spending all morning re-doing all the stuff that CG undid last night. Frustrating. BUT, at least Word Perfect is working, at the moment. I can access my files for the time being. Yay!

EVILBUNNIES

I think I can clear up the Ash bits. PR called me that because thats my name (or part of it). So to avoid any future mixups, I shall only be known as EB here. Unless anyone wants to call me by my real name.

I'm drinking black cherry soda right now. I haven't had it in years and its good :)

Mal: Define interesting.
Wash: Oh god, oh god, we're all gonna die?
