Last night i was thinking of a pretty good theory, i have no hard evidence but it's a possiblity.
Mabey before wash had met his demise, it may be possible that Zoe could of got pergnant but does not know yet.

We know that on "Heart of Gold" That Zoe was trying to talk wash into them having a baby so it may be possible that after so long since the end of the series that she may have convinced him.

I think it might be a good way for joss to go for story line wise having a tiny damn hero join the crew as it opens up for plenty more story options.
Just a wacky theory feel free to poke fun.

I must confess I wondered if Zoe might be pregnant too. It would be an interesting storyline. It was clearly a conversation they'd had many times before, and as Zoe was the driving force of the relationship I think she would eventually have worn Wash down.
