Re. XP:
Try writing software for it or doing anything particularly demanding of the OS and you get to know the nature of the beast.

XPs fine for every day common user use, but it's a poorly designed OS and there's lot's better out there, that's my problems with XP...

But I don't want to drag that all up really, I'll just say that I don't like it, and I like being forced to use it cause it's the defacto standard even less...

Bwa-ha! I just outwitted the man at the video store with logic. Mwa ha ha! Mine is an evil laugh and all that.

The moron tried to charge me full price for my videos (when they were supposed to be 2 for $5) when I had a coupon for a dollar off and then tried to tell me that he already voided my coupon so I couldn't have it back.

Long story short is that I outwitted him easily, ran circles around his faulty logic, made him very uncomfortable and ended up getting 2 videos for $4 plus tax. And I did it all very very sweetly.

The new BSG is a brilliant series!

Um.. At the moment, I'm loving the second season of a British supernatural drama called 'Hex'. It's been compared to Buffy, although in truth, it's not really the same.

The show deals with fallen angels, a witch and features a lesbian ghost. (There was an evil fairy nurse in it too, although they got rid of the character recently, which is a shame 'cause I liked her...)

It's also set in a college/Uni that used to be an English country manor house.

It's creepy, sometimes gory and really funny stuff. They've shook up the current storyline, and it's getting better each week.

It's Guy Fawkes night tomorrow, here in the U.K. (Or Bonfire night.) The one night of the year where just about everyone in the neighbourhood sets off fireworks - scaring the sh*t out of pets and their owners alike.

Everyone's setting off their fireworks early. It sounds like a warzone out there. (Or someone bursting a REALLY BIG brown paper bag.)

The firework displays are really good. I totally forgot its a holiday, so it kinda caught me off guard there..

Ya, i'm not a language person. I know know a lil about the history.
The laddy stones (sp?) something to do with building houses on them, and they use em as a symbol of something now, can't quite remember.

the food is aite, lot of BBQ mostly. I had a bad experience with there food, went to this thing they have on thursady nights(?) and got sick offa the food there.

i think i mighta learned more if i woulda picked to go here, and was excited. or if i hadn't of almost got into accidents for stupid decisions of drivers here. *sigh* before i go making an butt of myself.

beats me how we are trying to teach children that blowing things up is bad, yet they can go to any store and buy any fireworks they so desire.

in turn scareing people out of their wits and harming pets (how they can do stuff like that is beyond me)

im all for fireworks on big events, etc etc, but they should not be available to the general public.

this past summer my brother bought 100$ in fireworks, we were playing with them for weeks! he's very safe and plays golf.

you guys. i got a problem. how do i download a podcast to iTunes so i can play it on my iPod?

umm... lets see. I don't own a iPod (to much money and not a long enough life span). Lets go over a coupla general suggestions:

is there a import option on itunes?
is there another way to get mp3s onto an iPod?
How do you get your ripped mp3s onto your iPod?(and i mean ripped as in you own the CD and put it on ur computer to listen on mp3 player)
