In the Maidenhead fight, River takes one pretty solid punch in the forehead, which she shakes off instantly.

Later, in the storage locker aboard Serenity, we see splotches of blood in that spot (good continuity!). The blood must be hers, since the punch left no blood -- and it was early in the fight, so it's likely that the puncher was uninjured.

But when Simon cleans her up, the skin under those splotches is clean and undamaged. Same for the knuckles when he wipes those off.

So either River is a mighty fast healer, or the makeup people forgot to give Summer some fake injuries under that fake blood.

...Well, I did say it was teeny tiny...

The blood on her forehead wasn't necessarily from that particular punch; there was a good deal of fight still to come, as I recall. So it's somebody else's blood, from some other part of the fight.

I saw that too..but then on the 6th viewing (lol) I looked a little closer and under the blood it's all red and I guess you would say puffy in the vaguest sense.

No scratches but it is red..

That's why they call her River the Reaver Slayer!

I just figured it wasn't her blood as well.. However, I think I did see an error in the bar fight. I think a gunshot was missing a sound effect.

I would suspect it's not River's blood. I don't think this girl's capible of bleeding her own right now...until someone stronger comes into the picture...but she'll rise above it and get stronger...err O_o is it me or did I have a Dragonball Z moment there?

EXCITINGNEWCRIME

And Inara's CGI bow & arrow gun mysteriously transforming back to the bow Morena was actually using in three of the Zoe shots with Inara in the background.

And when they first go into the Maidenhead, there's all those shots of the bar and then there's one shot looking at the bar from the POV of the security camera.

This is *before* they've entered.

But if you look in the top left hand corner of that shot, Mal, Jayne, Fanty and Mingo are sitting down to do business.

Also, when Mal & Inara are talking via the cortex and Wash, Zoe, Kaylee and Jayne are throwing things at the screen and groaning, SOMEONE (one of the girls) clearly says "Oh, Mal!" but if you watch their mouths closely, nobody says anything. They all just groan.
