The final showing of "Serenity" at the Regal Hollywood 24 in Atlanta, GA will be on Tuesday, November 8. This is the only theatre in Atlanta still showing "Serenity," so if you live in the metro area, this may be your final chance to see the movie in the theatre. We all came out in droves for the first screening. I think it would be nice if we all got together for something of a farewell viewing. I personally will be taking in a mid-afternoon screening myself as I am unavailable in the evening. But I encourage all Browncoats to come out and join, afternoon or evening show.

Hey, thanks for the info. I was wondering how long it was gonna hang on there. 1 screen, 2 showings a day. I had planned to hit the 1pm showing last week, but never got the chance. Will definatly make it now.

There are reports of some of the remaining 300 theaters it's playing in, are getting more traffic. For example, in New York City, only one theater (AMC Theatres Empire 25, just off Times Square) was showing it as of the reduction last week. Two screenings a day (noonish, and 3:45 PM, where I caught it for the second time last week, it was about a third full.) But now, that same theater, still the only one in NYC showing Serenity, has five screenings a day (12:25pm |3:25pm |6:35pm |9:25pm |12:15am). Gotta love the midnight show. Is this the replacement for The Rocky Horrow Picture Show?

I will likely be at the theatre at the earliest showtime on Tuesday as opposed to the latest one. I have other commitments on Tuesday evening. But I hope to see some of you guys there!

Is Universal hearing this too, I wonder?
Reopening party anyone? After Christmas re-release party anyone?

Looking forward to seeing you Auraptor. I'll meet you in the lobby area a little bit before the movie or so.
And JubelLate, although we're seeing the earlier show, I'm sure you'll have good company for the evening show. That must be a more popular time with people's work schedules.

A little bird tells me that today the movie has been moved from one of the smallest screens to one of the largest, and an auditorium with a new sound system at that. So we get to go out in style!

FYI the BDM is playing in Raleigh NC at the Blue Ridge Carmike-at least thru tomorrow. The admission is only $1.50. I'll call tomorrow and see if it's playing this weekend.

If it is I'll see it for the second time with my daughter -hey, so i've only seen it once I'm new to this world

If the listings at Fandango are to be believed, Serenity will continue to have four showings per day until at least Thursday November 17th in my hometown of Nashville (at the Regal 27). Guess we're doin' alright for now.

Just wanted to give props to 'who ever it was' that got the movie moved to a larger screen. Goodonya!

I was wondering about that last night. It was good to see it one last time on the big screen.

Crazy enough, "Serenity" was still showing at the Hollywood today. I checked Fandango, and realized that we're still running at least through next Thursday (Nov. 17.) The movie has moved back into the smaller theatre (it was only in the nice one on Tuesday,) but it's still running. I'm wondering if they decided to hang on to the print for a little while longer in response to some recent strong numbers (which perhaps were in response to this post.) In any event, if you came out on Tuesday, enjoy the fact that you got to see it in the better auditorium, and if you missed it yesterday, know that you still have at least a little bit longer to catch it in the theatre.
