EVILBUNNIES

Aw Rel, hope you get better. Being sick is no fun. I think that cold bug has finally caught up to me. Or it got loose from someone else's clutches. *Narrows eyes* Alright, who left the cage to the cold bug open?

Just 'cos I didn't want to be left out.

How is everyone's day so far? Filled with chocolate, getting better from nasty flu bugs, and playing in nurse costumes, I hope?

*looks up from Serenity's lap*

Yeah, well, it's probably more "flu" than flu but that doesn't mean it's any less fun-less. It's not like I've said at home, lay down on the sofa and whinged all day.

No, honestly, I haven't. In to work at the same time as always, sat around bored (and ill) all day.

And no Rocket Fuel coffee either! No coffee at all! No wonder I feel so sick!

So yeah, I'm ill but I'm still doing everything as normal. So I'm not completely pathetic.

Thanks for the well-wishes, y'all. And the smoochies too.

...

Hope you all enjoy being infected!

MWUAHA MWUAHA MWUAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!

On the plus side, I have pizza.

COSMICFUGITIVE

Did any U.K Randomites catch the repeat of CSI: NY last night, on Channel 5? It was the Mark Sheppard episode!

I love the CSI franchise, but hadn't seen this episode. The Irish accent was brilliant!

The funny part was that I never realised. During the first few minutes, I was sitting thinking that he had a guest spot on one of the episodes, and he suddenly popped up on screen! It was a nice surprise, (and kind of spooky.)

Also, Ted (Evil Dead/Xena) Raimi was in it too. Although, I never knew that he'd be in the same episode... It was great seeing him back on tv.

I think I saw that one, PR! There was the dead buy in those big shipping crates and Badger was the bad guy?

And it's funny that I've seen it because I never watch that show. It may be the only one I've ever seen.

I wish I had pizza. I have green tea.

Hey Serenity, great minds and all that. I'm having hot apple cider. I feel the stuffiness coming on.

Y'know, I love my wife and daughters dearly, but when flu season hits and they all get sick, I seriously consider moving to the barn.

Pizza would go over good right about now. Double cheese mushroom and pepperoni. And hot peppers...

What I can't stand is the *smell* of sick people. The smell of congestion and fever and coughing. It bothers me.

I had Woodchuck Cider this weekend. It was pretty good.

I'm ashamed to admit, the coughing grates on my nerves.

As for Hard apple cider I like Strongbow (English), Hawkins or Growers (British Columbia).

My teen-age son's at the coughing/snuffling/sneezing stage, and it's just a harbinger of where I'll be ere long. *sigh* A barn would be nice, if we had such a thing around here. He hangs out upstairs the vast majority of the time, but those evil germs climb stairs.

Poor Rel.

More ginger ale?

Would you like me to rub some vapor rub on your chest?

(I hate it when the smell is me, too. I take lots of baths when I'm sick.)

Don't worry Rel, the only ting I hate more than the sound of coughing (especially when I'm trying to sleep) is being the origin of said annoyance.

Oooo, I've never tried Woodchucks. I shall have to indulge...
