Yup, not long to go now! Ten days, in point of fact, as of this post.

How's everyone's plans shaping up? Got all your costumes arranged? Practiced all the dances? Know who you're going to get photographed with? Worked out which signatures you want? Figured out the best way to assassinate those friends who will be in the meet and greet when you aren't?

Reveal everything here!

On second thoughts... don't. It's a family thread, after all...

So, Rel, I believe you're in the Meet & Greet. Any preferred method of assassination or would you like to be surprised?

I think that's when the rest of us shall console ourselves with chocolate.

Indeed you are right. I was as surprised as anyone.

Comforting chocolates are definitely the way to go if you won't be there, I'd say. But at least you won't be running the risk of going all bibbledy when you try and talk to the guests! Nothing's worse than finding yourself speaking genuine frontier gibberish to folks, even if it would be kind of appropriate.

Oh, and surprise me please. It's more fun that way!

WOO!

I mean, that's good news, right? It being sold out shows how popular it is, hopefully Universal will know about it, and increases the chance of getting a third con....

Hence... WOO!

GIRLEEKAYLEE

Hiya all! I'm getting sooooo excited!! I had a question - How many people are doing "Meet and Greet"?? If it's up to the ticket number, I would be the one eating chocolate....

I'm on vacation and in Hawaii right now, kinda bad timing, cos I can't spend time to pick up/make the costume... (though vacation has been great)

I can't wait to see all the browncoats - but I might be hiding in the corner. I'll try to be brave and talk to you guys!

:S

I highly doubt it'll be Adam.

As far as I know, he wasn't invited. And isn't welcome at any other Starfury cons...

Which is a shame cos he's great.

And as far was a 5th guest? Well, we already have 5. And as I understand, there won't be any more additions to the list.

But the current guest list ROCKS!

I think Girleekaylee means the surprise guest #6. Sean Harry always manages great extra guests.

Adam was due to come to the last Starfury con but had to cancel at the last minute due to work.

"As far as I know, he wasn't invited. And isn't welcome at any other Starfury cons..."

Why? What did I miss?

He was supposed to go to Starfury Quortoth, an Angel con, in June, but then he cancelled. Then he appeared as a guest at London film and comic con, which was the same weekend as Quortoth, and that...caused some uproar!

It wasnt Adams fault...I think it was just a mix up between the agents.

And yes there is a 6th box with a "?" but sean has said there will be no more announcements.

But just because there won't be any more guest announcements, doesn't mean there won't be any more guests.

I've got my ear to the ground! And my advice to y'all...take a lil extra dosh to Squared...just incase.

If you want Heathrow you'll need the Piccadilly line. You can get on it one stop south of Euston on the Northern line. Go to the end of the line to the terminals.

The tube station is going to be a taxi job to that hotel but it's not far try this lot as they're local

There might be a shuttle bus but couldn't tell you how to find it. Hotel website says "From Terminal 1, 2 & 3, use the Heathrow Hotel Hoppa coach" or taxi 8 minutes

From memory the tube ends at terminal 2. been a while since i used it. i used to be local to the area

The shuttle bus (hotel hoppa) is in the bus station by the tube. Ask anyone who looks vaguely official and they can show you where to go, other than that ask anyone who looks like a Browncoat - there are always a few con-goers on every bus after about 1pm on Friday.

Oh, and unless you have loads of money I would take the tube not the Heathrow Shuttle as it is way more expensive and not worth the half hour or so it will save.

This is soooooo exciting!

Can't help with the meet and greet - have only been to one and that wasn't a Starfury con.

I can’t dance.. No costume.. No meet and greet either…

Although, I’ve got pretty much everything else worked out. (I think) A group photo and all the guests’ autographs is on the cards.

Is anyone getting a personal item signed? I’m currently working on a piece of artwork. It’s the ‘Summer loving’ wallpaper (posted by Fray), and the image of Summer blowing a kiss. It’s been a bit of a nightmare getting something done in time. (My original piece of artwork was damaged.) It’s becoming a tradition to get artwork signed at these things.

I’m really looking forward to it though..

There’s gonna be a few surreal moments while sitting in Maccy D’s.(Next to the hotel.) There’s a big chance that the BDH’s will walk in over the weekend...
