I haven't seen the series yet! Only just saw the movie today, I'm picking up the DVD sometime this week, so no spoilers, PLEASE!? :)

What's up with the beginning? Does that teacher stab her in the forehead... in front of all the other students?

Also, about "Reavers" (Or Reapers?) how do they reproduce, how do they fly the ships? They seem like mindless cannibals?

And again, I have yet to see the series so please don't spoil anything! Thanks! :)

It was a nightmare. Amusing that the tech then said "scary monsters" when it was in fact an Alliance school teacher.

As explained in the movies, the Reavers have only existed for ten years, so it's not necessary that they reproduce. The issue is also touched on a bit in the series, but I won't give it away.

Well... I just dedicated 12 straight hours to watching every episode of Firefly and all the special featues and...

FOX

It sucks I missed it when it originally aired and that I waited so long to see the movie...

It was great!
