Chum TV's Space Channel, is putting on a best of scifi programing awards show. Firefly recieved no nominations ( why, I do not know )

I have Emailed them a request to reconsider their nominations, and invite you to do the same.

I have also asked them to consider trying to run the existing episodes here in Canada.

Most likly Space can't aford to show Firefly. lol

They do show "new" shows a few days after all other networks do, im not sure why, but I thought it had something to do with money.

City and UPN both show enterprise wednesday, and space shows it Sunday.

However City owns Space, so Im not sure why they do it that way.

Anyways my point is I dont think Space has too mcuh money to invest into new shows.

They did rerun all the cancelled eps of Harsh Realm. That would be the closest parawell I could come up with. Two shows cancelled before being given a real chance. Times slot shuffle, etc.

I live in Canada and i sent space an e-mail regarding firefly about a month ago. And they said that they would put it on a viewer request sheet or something.

and as for space and city airing enterprise and other shows on different days, it makes total sence. If you miss enterprise on wednesday, you can catch it on sunday. And since they are owned by the same company, then its smart to air two different things, giving them more over all raitings then if they both showed enterprise at the same time ...but uh... oh yeah, firefly, lol

keep sending those e-mails to space =) not that i need space to air it, i taped all the episodes, but for the purpose of developing a wider audience.

I've heard that Space will be showing Firefly Monday nights at 9:00 p.m. starting in September...

I will try to track down the link this afternoon.

I think I might actually have to get cable!

Arg, don't remind me about the stupid 'spacey'
awards. This ad is the only thing they ever
show and now I would rather watch a commercial.
I don't understand who gets nominated, like
a choice for best villain is shinzon from star
trek nemesis... arg! Who picked the nominees?
Will anyone even vote, what's the use?

Sorry for complaining, its just that firefly
isn't on the space channel, and buffy/angel are, and they're not even "space" shows.

If it airs on space in the fall, we can all vote for it then.

Producer Mark Askwith said on the Space b-board that Firefly will be on Monday nights at 9p "in the fall." Otherwise, he had no other details.
