Hey guys and gals, how are ya? I'm writing because I write for a website called A Talent for War ( http://atfw.blogspot.com) in which we cover space sims and combat games.

I found today that there's a new Firefly Medium Class Freighter ( http://www.lancersreactor.com/t/download/download.asp?id=2017) available as a mod for the game, Freelancer.

I'm installing Freelancer as I type this in order to try it out, and I'll report back with screenshots when I have some, but I thought I'd share this very cool news with my fellow Browncoats. Enjoy!

I found this Mod too, and yes, it's very shiny!
It's a pity that only the thruster is in the tail of the ship, (the main engines are on the two side wings), but it looks very nice indeed.
I'll post a link to a screenshot from the game soon.

Edit: Gorammit, beaten to it.
Oh well, since I've uploaded them, here they are. (Warning for 56kers, these images are about 700-800kb each.)

All they need now is a new star system, similar to the Earth Alliance System (sol system) mod.

The only problem I'll have is the Jump gates will ruin the mood for me. Do you know if there is a total conversion in the making? Or if any more vehicles will be converted?

A: A superb suggestion with just two major drawbacks. One, we don't have any defensive shields. And two, we don't have any defensive shields. Technically speaking thats only one flaw, but it was such a big one I thought I mention it twice.
