I surrender unto you the secret place where you can find nice people and you are just going to "give up"?!!!!!? What would have happened if Kaylee had said, "to hell this, we're going to die."? Have a care woman! Love is probably the only thing worth fighting for. So it stands to reason it would be worth questing for. However it is true that fate has ironic sense of humor. It's a cliche that the moment a person stops searching for their lover and concentrates on just enjoying their life that will be the moment that they find someone. This is somehow related to that clingyness element that was getting batted around the other thread. "Desparate" people are so less than desirable because they have that psychic aura that tells you that they will be clingy if they can only find someone. "Desparate" and clingy people are insecure and expect the person they find to solve all their problemas and make their world a paradise. Can you say "codependant" children? I knew you could. No wonder no one wants them. No one wants to get into a interpersonal relationship with a blackhole. Here's the thing Mai, if everything you said is true then you have a truly rich life and have no reason to be "desparate". If anything you're intimidating. Okay then so maybe you should take a break. Here's the thing, you can't pretend to stop looking because fate, god, whatever sees all. Freakin' A! Looking backward I realise now that I just talked myself out of talking you out of whatever it is you're going to do. I need my head recalibrated. Scorpion Regent

Oh, and it's strange you mentioned the SCA. It keeps popping up and I always think "hmm..that sounds interesting." and I file it in the back of my head for later. Maybe now IS later!
