Saw Serenity in theaters, thought it was great. Then the past couple Fridays I saw some eps for Firefly. Next, this past week there were a couple of marathons and since I'm on holiday I decided to watch...

AND THIS SHOW IS GREAT!!! :)

Adam Baldwin is my favorite so far, he's always saying, wearing, or doing something funny

I'm asking for the DVD's for X-Mas, and hopefully I'll get the movie soon after, it comes out in Dec. correct?

Anyway, signed up here last night and wanted to say 'hi' . Feel free to let me in on anything I should know.

Hi and Welcome! If you live in Southern California, you might want to join the SoCal Browncoats because that's where we organize shindigs. If you live elsewhere, you might want to check and see if there is a Browncoat group in your state because they have them and get together too. That way, you can meet people in person and watch Firefly which is fun.

Well, since you're new to the verse, you may not be aware yet of the "Serenity" Comic series. 3 issues that fill the gap between the TV series and the movie. Each issue had 3 different covers featuring a different BDH (Big Damn Hero). The collected Graphic novel should be available soon, if it's not already. Also you may want to seek out the River Tam Sessions. 5 Video clips featuring Dr. Joss and River at the academy.
Adam is Fantastic, and a really nice guy.

Thanks for the info and welcome all.

I had heard from a gaming forum about the gag-reel, but needed a link, so thanks for that as well.

I knew about the comics, as buy some regularly. I think the LCS (local comic shop) has some #3's left, but no others. So I'll watch ebay or wait for the graphic novel.

Not sure what the River Tan sessions thing is all about, but I'll check it out asap.
