The DVD of "Serenity", the movie, comes out on 12/20/05. Am I remembering wrong, or is that the 3rd anniversary of the airing of "Serenity", the pilot/final episode of the show?

That would be it. I don't know if it's intentional - could just be that it's the last (Tuesday) release date before Christmas.
