well i have gotten this info in a uk dvd magazine and now on this site so its looking like a better dvd than the US version. Here's the link to read so enjoy and any Americans with multi-region players start saving as you now have 2 versions to buy, although that could be for everyone as i intend to get the US disc aswell-shiny. http://serenitymovie.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=1850&sid=1efaca7fa79a1d555

Well, if that's the case, and the Region 2 UK version includes 2 discs as well, I'll be ordering the UK version for www.amazon.co.uk (it's easier to buy from them than from Australia). Just in case any other American Browncoats are worried about playing PAL DVDs with region codes other than Region 1 (North America), run out to your friendly Walmart and purchase the Philips DVP-642 DVD player that plays PAL and NTSC, and by hitting 7-8-9-Enter-0 on the remote with the tray open (if memory serves correctly), turns the unit into a region free player that will play just about ANYTHING you throw at it, including DIVX AVI files and mpeg files! It's an incredible player, and Walmart has it for $58! (Target has it for $70 if you prefer Target). I have two of these players, and they are great.

btw, if the UK version does not include the extras, can someone please post a reputable Aussie on-line retailer we could order from? I believe Australia is Region 4...but the Philips will play it just fine
