Serenity, the roleplay reality show???

Some guy in SF is putting together a sort of reality show based on the series. He's got a large boat, and is looking for live-aboard crew with the charactor types from the show to fill the positions. They get to live aboard for free. He wants to document the evolution of bonding between the participants as they become sort of an extended family, kind of like the cast of Firefly did while production was ongoing. He posted an ad on www.Craigslist.com in the talent section, I found out about it here.

Here's what he posted.

I am off to a cool experiment. I own a small ship, or very huge boat, whichever you want to call it, and would like to see if I can create the same multi-cultural family atmosphere that existed on Serenity. Anyone who wants to check this out and see if it'll work, give me a call. We can all live on the boat, or just go for adventures in the huge expanse of SF Bay. The people who make this work will not have to pay any rent, just help out with the chores and groceries. I'll pay the rent/fuel/water/electric and ship related items, and my share of the groceries/chores. I will be looking for persons to fill sort of the same positions(but with your real names)of:

Zoe* (tough,smart and tomboyish but feminine, natural leader)(casting exp?)
Kaylie (mechanicly inclined, girl next door)(can you actually fix things?)
Jayne (muscle,tall,sense of humor, bulldozer big guy)
Wash (aloof,average,funny,but he WILL pilot the ship, and deadly serious when
we need him to be)( I will train the right person for this position)
Inara (not a "commpanion", more like a counselor, big sister type, with curves)
Book (does not have to be a religous nut, just gives us sense of balance)

Simon and River (can be a couple, or real bro and sis)(she DOES NOT have to be crazy, although psychic would be very cool!)

Mal (well, I do own the ship..)

Looks like we might expand this to include a "Persephane" or "Whitefall" or "Heart of Gold"experiance to this. Any "Badger's" out there?

You don't have to be the same race or appearance as the position you look at, but the same role-types and genders would be nice I know not all races were represented on the show, but all are welcome. We can do what we want. Every thing in life is what you make it, right?

I want to make a video documentary of this. Any ideas?

This is is open to ANY and ALL people who identify with the Firefly show,
or who just think they would like to contribute to our effort. Not trying to duplicate the show exactly, just the family type atmosphere. We may make our own cast, so to speak. Compatability with the situation is a plus.

We're gonna have a "Name the Ship" meeting to pick a name soon, and I will be needing volunteers to crew it down from Coos Bay, Oregon to SF Bay.
We have to decide on a name before we go, and of course,it has to be christend with the new name before launching.

I want to hear any and all ideas you might have.
If you live out of the area, but really, REALLY, R E A L L Y would do just about anything to make this project work, I might help with your transportation costs. You would have to be pretty near perfect for what ever position on the ship you were interested in, or somehow demonstrate your commitment to fill it. Send us a pic with your name, and why you think you would be perfect for this, and I'll answer all.
