As most everyone here probably knows, Amazon constantly markets itself using various recommendations and teasers. Some of these are personalized ("we think you might like such-and-such"), while others are generic.

Today, I got to a page of DVD ads. In the "Hot Future Releases" section, Serenity was featured prominently -- possibly based on its preorders.

This was a "generic" page, by the way; Serenity isn't on my personalized pages because I have it on preorder (several copies, in point of fact).

At least Amazon's computers are taking note of the BDM!
