I was massivly hung over from the night before so I was fairly shaken and not stirred too.

I'm sorry haven't had much time since yesterday morning, work and all.
Neverwhere it was a 4 episode BBC miniseries, very cool, very surreal.
I'm a little pressed for time again so I'm going to cheat and give you the netflicks synopsis:
Neverwhere (1996)

Neil Gaiman, author of such disparate but equally impressive works as the novel American Gods and DC Comics' "Sandman" series, created "Neverwhere," a six-episode series first broadcast by the BBC. Londoner Richard Mayhew's life as he knows it ends swiftly when he tries to help a hapless stranger. He immediately ceases to exist in the mortal world, joining the citizens of London Below.

Plus I don't think any pictures were taken in the end.

I've been in work aaaaaaallllll day,

some kid threw bouncy balls all over the floor and i couldn't tell him off cause I'd just spent the last hour trying to teach myself to juggle using them, and, naturally, dropping them all over the floor.

And I fell asleep in the photocopier room, despite two coffee's for lunch,

so wheres that dohnut then?

Neverwhere was great, I vote for Neverwhere, I can never use the London underground with out thinking of it.

I've never seen Neverwhere.

How's the juggling coming, Seryn? Bouncy balls are not the best things to learn on, seeing as they like to bounce away. Bean bags are the best because one you dtop one, it just goes PLOP!

How's Olander the Orca doing? Have you given up hope of resuing him? Has he resigned himself to captivity? Save the whale!!

Olanders just fine, I managed to get a look at him and he looks flat out on his back fast asleep.

still hoping to get him out soon though, wire coat hangers we have are to soft to keep hold of him, so we're thinking improvisedhook or loop to get around his tail, but it all depends on getting up high enough to actually see him (I was using my compact's mirror)

Yes, I realised that, but I'm just stubborn I guess, plus it was entertaining Luc (the foyer attendant)and random members of the public

besides I caved, I put my name down for some of the goslings.

y'see, this is why i never have any money...

No, you just have to keep practicing.

Did you see my note on how to juggle? Once you learn how to toss one beanbag back and forth, you add a second. And when you can do that, THEN you add the third. You can be juggling in a week is you practice.

aw, you don' wanna see the wacky expressions?

oh well, yes of course I shall practice, its simply three times as hard with ball that keep bouncing right out of your hands as you catch it - but I shall persevere.

I'm actually already kinda good at the one ball throwing, though i do tend to get distracted and start throwing it straight from hand to hand like i've seen baseball pitchers do - its vaguely threatening apparently

ah well

Neverwhere starred the ultra-lovely Laura Fraser who was also in A Knight's Tale with our man Alan.

For Alan night, I wore a t-shirt with a printed on, very bloody and graphic gaping hole in my chest, complete with the caption on the back "It's just a flesh wound." A little Monty Python tributing going on there.

I'm planning a few little changes, not so sure about the colour of the walls see, and I think the fridge needs to be a bit bigger, then we shall be up and running.

We need a commercial size fridge with see through doors so we don't have to open it up to see inside and we should mural the walls. It would be nice if we could have walk in murals, cost a bit more though. How do you feel about some plants in here?

Well, see this is where my inner interior decorating freak come's into her own,

I was thinking a seasonal nice pale-ish chalky blue grey, with a design of winter tree-branches in a slightly paler grey on the lower parts of the walls and corners, then warm it up and make it all soft and cosy with cushions, drapes and throws in rich copper, bronze and teal blue taffeta's, velvets and brocades,

but I don't know...

what? stop looking at me like that.

A fish tank would be fab, seeing as Firefly Towers isn't subject to normal laws, I want some Leafy Seadragons - a breeding pair so that we regularly get cute little babies that we can give back to Australia.

I'm not getting a fridge with glass doors, I don't want the place to look like a shop, but I did think about one of those great big ones you see on mtv cribs with the two sides and the filters and ice machines. ice - that would be good.I thought I could put it along the back wall and cover the doors in cherrywood to match the the new miniature bar.

It's Monday morning! Which means I desperately want to crawl back in between my flannel sheets and cuddle up in my bed. I got a new TV this weekend so my older, smaller TV is now in my bedroom. Which means I just want to lay in bed and watch crap on the Sci-Fi channel all day and take naps and stay warm (we are having a high of 12 degrees today), and cuddle with my kitties.

Mmm Monday morning in the loafers nook. I can't find the 4th floor, so we might have to open a new one. Seems we got bored with the last one.

If you don't want the glass fronted fridge I'm taking it down to my place. I brought in a commercial grade blender for drinks and smoothies it's on the bar. And I love smoothies. Will you make me one with mango and pineapple? Anything tropical. mmmmmmmmm

Don't like beanbag chairs though. Don't really know why. I prefer the comfy 1 1/2 chairs with the ottoman and a cozy blanket. I love laying in them side-ways when I'm reading.

Someone pass some trail mix!

You need to find yourself a little space on the interrnet to store the picture; you can't link it from your hard drive.

Try imageshack.com. I think they offer free picture hosting service. It's not a lot of space, but it'll do for a few pictures.

Never fear; hissy fits are just proof positive that we're not brain-dead. It can be most distressing when the computer refuses to bend to your will. I should know; I've spent the better part of hte last ten years of my life practically chained to one, and I still occasionally come across a problem whose solution evades me.

I think I may add a button to my keyboard that says "Curse you and your sudden but inevitable betrayal!" Dunno if I could fit that all on one button tho.

Trailmix a collection of nuts, seeds, and dried fruit usually stored in plastic ziplock bags. This was the original snack food of wilderness backpackers, hence the name. Where I live you need only hike into the market or convience store to buy some. However there is a secret art to making the perfect personalized mix. M&M candies are often added, Japanese crunchy coated peanuts, chocolate, yogurt or butterscotch chips, shredded coconut, toffee peanuts, honey roasted almonds, rice crackers, seseame bites, are the nuts salted or not, are the nuts and seeds roasted or not. The one thing that can be said is every handfull of trailmix is a unique experience. I promise you that if you feed your horse this it will never run off and leave you. It is the sort of thing I leave hidden somewhere in the car in case I get stuck somewhere and have to miss a proper meal. Warning chocolate, yogurt and butterscotch chips melt when exsposed to extended sunlight as do coated nuts and raisins. Some people sprinkle it on top of ice cream.
