CMS the schools shut today, was deemed too dangerous

I watched a weather forcast on bbc yesterday but I don't remember what it said. I was just amused to be watching a weather forcast for England. The news is so much more interesting with British accents.

ok on the subject of the 2 serenity cons next year

we have had this info

SERENITY CUBED and TO THE POWER OF FOUR will both be held later in the year, and most people will only need to attend one. Two events, but same guests. The main difference will be that one will be in London, the other in Glasgow

So im guessing most of us will go to the london one, and later in the year means after NFA, and i cant see it being before the charmed con in july

So with luck it will be after august and mine, sam and keelys and the kids holiday.

oh and still smokey here, schools still shut

Both would be crazy. That being said, there will be many that will go to both, of course. Because they're crazy. As in "fly to LA just for a convention" crazy. Heh.

Unless there's a guest I haven't seen yet, I can't see myself getting any more photo sets or autographs. Which is good, as it means I get to do something other than queue most of the day for a change.

How is everyone?

I haven't heard back from my friend in St Albans since Sunday night. I hope she's okay, safely evacuated or whatever. She lives a smidgeon over two miles away from the depot. She also has asthama... I'm fighting visions of her in a hospital bed, or worse. I worry overmuch.

Interesting. Perhaps they'll be on consecutive weekends? If so, I'll be tempted to attend the latter one when the guests aren't horribly jetlagged and have had a little time in the UK to recover/sightsee. Sometimes it's clear that they're enjoying our company but... all they want to do is sleep.

Well, I have the mobile numbers of Carol and... well, actually just Carol. (Hey, be fair, I'm telephobic).

So if I spot that the tickets are online, I text Carol to let her know. She then texts everyone she has in her mobile. Who then text everyone they know that would want a ticket. That way, within 10-20 minutes of one of us randomites spotting the tickets are online, we can acquire them like *bling* that.

I suggest we put a list of whose number we have here so that if, say Rel gets the message from Carol, he knows he doesn't have to text any others on her list.
