Okay this is just a blatent plug, but firefly hasn't got many fans in the uk, so I was wondering if some of you guys could pop over to a friends forum, an you know convince them of the beauty of ff, pop over to www.futurenoir.com

This is possible trolling, folks. There's a "Scary Firefly Fans" thread over there and they seem to be trying to bait us. Don't really understand why someone who doesn't like another show would go looking for a fight. Bored I guess. Please don't fall for this.

Hello.

I have perused through that board and found it quite interesting. Though I am one of the loyal Browncoats/Firefly fans (and could be considered hardcore), but I think of myself as a reasonable person. I think that if I wasnt so scared of the people on that board, I'd join it myself because I liked that the discussions weren't all sunshine and roses.

So, as a reasonable and open minded person who happens to be one of your "scary Firefly fans", I am offering this to you and the rest of the members of your board...I will happily debate and discuss Firefly with you all just as long as I am not flamed. I will answer any questions to the best of my ability the lot of you might have. It seems that there is some confusion about the show in general and I am offering to shed some light on the subject but in a non-rabid way. I wont come running up to you freaking out and screaming "Oh my Gawd! Firefly rulez!!!!!1111!!!!"

So, the offer stands. Q&A session, debate and discussion with a non-rabid but still hardcore Browncoat.

I was actually trying to be sincere in that offer. I read through that board and one specific thread in question where this person acquired the address to this site.

No, I dont consider him or her a troll...I've been a troll, seriously, and over on that site, they just dont happen to be as gushing about our beloved show as we all are. I dont mind that and I dont mind a good debate, hence the offer.

I actually kind of like their brand of snarkyness over there but am scared of them as they are seemingly scared of us. If you hadnt noticed, I can be a snarky beeotch myself and well, I'll leave it at that.

The offer may well be made in good faith lots of good comments over there, BUT there is the scary Firefly fan thread. Seems they are trying to lure people from the fox board.
