Mayhap not everyone knows who she is. (how? you ask, well, me too). My fiance collects Jenna Jameson movies, his collection is so prodigious it's just downright scary.

He got to meet Sylvia Saint the other week and was very impressed (myself, I don't really like either Jenna or Sylvia, but that's a personal thing).

My favs:

Actors: Adam Baldwin (heh), ASH, Johnny Depp.
Actresses: Got a penchant for the Firefly ladies (all four count as one, you hear?): Gina, Jewel, Summer and Morena. Also, Mary Stuart Masterson, Sandra Bullock, Meg Ryan.

Oh, I chuckled. By George.

I’m not terribly familiar with her work; though I’m sure she puts on a pretty good show for those who are interested. It begs the question, though, what exactly is implied in a “favorite” actor/actress? Is it acting talent? In which cases, I fear celebrities of the Firefly universe are likely to fall way down the list. Not that Fillion isn’t a good actor, but he’s no Brando. I think the types of movies, characters played, image and sexual attractiveness of an actor or actress play as much into his or her appeal as talent.

I like Bruce Willis. I have, ever since Moonlighting. I’m not sure why. I think I like the flawed-hero image, but Willis isn’t that bad of an actor either.

I think Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise are probably the best actors of modern cinema, even though I don’t think I would put either of them as my favorites. I’m not really qualified to make that judgment, so I could be way off.

Of the Firefly crew, I would have to go with Alan Tudyk as the best overall actor, but he’s not my favorite. That of course goes to Adam Baldwin, probably for the same reasons as Bruce Willis.

As for actresses, I think Kidman and Zellweger may be the best actresses in modern cinema. Once again, I could be way off, because I don’t really know what I’m talking. And neither of them are my favorite actress, although Zellweger in Cold Mountain was awesome.

A few of the actors and actresses that I find appealing in no particular order:
Bruce Willis, Harrison Ford, Humphrey Bogart, Rachel Weisz, Liam Neeson, Mathew Broderick, Morgan Freeman, Antonio Banderas, Yul Brynner, and Dakota Fanning.

If I thought about it I could probably add more to that list, but those are right off the top of my head.
