Last I heard, Joss said that there would be no more follow ups to Serenity, except in the comic media.

Is this true? It didn't seem a reliable source from what I read, could someone clear this up for me?

Sidenote: I got all three comics for Christmas (Jayne, Kaylee and River covers) and loved them to bits (yay Badger!).

no Joss didn't say that...Entertainment Weekly said that...
Joss has said that he will do follow ups as soon as he can, and for sure there will be comics in 2006
