Anyone remember him in that?

He plays Brian Piccolo, a famous player for the great Chicago Bears.

When I first saw Firefly just recently it took me a little while to 2 and 2 together and place his Simon and Brian Piccolo as the same actor.

Great movie, story and acting. The Other lead is played by Mekhi Phifer, as Gayle Sayers.

I've never seen the 2001 remake. Only the original 1971 version with James Caan & Billy Dee Williams.
Can anyone tell me how they compare?

The new one is great with updated effects filmstock, new actors...

Its was a more than adequate. Great acting.

I think, though that if you saw the 70's version first you might like that one better.

It doesn't make that one better, but you usuallly like the one you saw first, in my estimation.

EXCITINGNEWCRIME

I haven't got a credit card so I can't order from amazon.com to the UK, but an American friend sent me it for Christmas :D I watched it on Christmas day - possibly the least festive movie ever, but I loved it, and Sean was *amazing* in it.
