Where can we keep track of the dvd sales, or at least relative ranking, the way we did with the box office take? The email about the official website closing said Serenity opened in 1st; a news article from yesterday says it's at 3rd. Y'all got a link for me? The dvd sales are absolutely critical to us seeing a sequel.

Thanks kindly. We're #3 for sales and #25 for rentals - looks like Browncoats play for keeps!

Ugh.
We're being beaten by a 40 Year Old Virgin?

That's just pathetic, isn't it?

We're being beaten by Star Trek fans?

I kid, I kid. It's just that Firefly has been my first obsession, so i still poke fun at other peoples' obsessions from time to time.

Hee hee hee

Actually, 40 Year old virgin was damn funny. Not better than Serenity, but the 2nd best movie I have seen this year.

WHITEFALL

I havent seen Virgin, nor do i plan to, but there is one simple difference between our BDM and that movie. Virgin is an easy, EASY sell. In fact, it sells itself without explanation, just with title. And while it is pathetic to be beaten by a movie called "The 40-Year-Old Virgin", (which is a really stupid name) unfortunately it is a better marketing strategy. If Joss had followed that scheme, our BDM would be called "Serenity: A Sci-Fi Western" or somesuch nonsense.

Damn world...

I survived a day in Whitefall and all I got was this lousy signature!
