I've been looking high and low but I have no clue where I can just buy a 3 set of the comics. I would like all 9 varient covers but I doubt I'll have the coin for that right now. Can someone please tell me where to get these comics (besides ebay)? The help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Have you tried Dark Horse Comics? You might try them. Comic book sellers online might have them as well.

I know that my local store still has them on the shelf for sale, though he no longer has all 9 covers.

More places to try:

www.midtowncomics.com
www.poplollies.com

I've had good results buying from both these sources. {Added} Looks like Midtown is out of most of them, but Poplollies is still showing all covers of all issues. Good luck!

Dark Horse doesn't sell comics direct,
and their official online seller, TFAW, is unreliable in the extreme
(take your money now and never come through)

I would suggest going to:
http://www.258west.com/category/search.php
they still have some copies

or here:
http://www.midtowncomics.com/
they still had some Serenity 2 & Serenity 3 last time I checked...

and you can hunt around for Serenity #1 (on eBay?)

But soon (in Jan or Feb) the graphic novel with all three should be out and for sale
Dark Horse should know soon when they'll publish...
Oh good I found it! here:
http://www.darkhorse.com/profile/profile.php?sku=10-759
it'll be out Jan 25th...
just do NOT buy it through TFAW, because they'll take weeks (if not a month or more) getting it to you, order it through your local comic book store
or through any online store you trust
like 258West
or Midtown Comics

**********************************************
watch the R. Tam Session vids: http://www.hittarivertam.nu/
and buy the 'Serenity' comics published by Dark Horse

TFAW gave me no problems. I ordered the full set of 9 and they arrived less than 2 weeks later including the cheep shipping I selected. Came well packed and perfect condition. I can't complain.

Ask your friendly neighborhood Comic Book store owner.

Mine was able to order each cover I was missing and a complete 9 cover set from Dark House Comics.

You can order the Serenity graphic novel on Amazon.com and at Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million stores. I hope they include the 9 covers on the pages. But usually they don't.

VIOLETRIX

i just bought all of them from some site that the dark horse site pointed me to. they have a list of online retailers and also the comic book stores in your area that carry them.

oh, i have a question: is the novelization by krad different from the movie at all? i never read novelizations, but i'm making all kinds of exceptions for firefly. is it just a straight novelization or does it have juicy extras?

you won't remember anyway
