BDM FF theme song with guitar & dobro

HERA


It's beautiful, and it plays at the very end of the credits to the BDM.

It is not on my Serenity movie soundtrack, which bums me out.

Anyone know the story of how it got there? I'm trying to ascertain if it was added for the DVD release. I don't remember hearing it in the theatre. Does anyone else?

I'm curious and frustrated, which is an odd combination.

I definitely heard it in the theatre. I actually heard a rumour about it going in, so I waited around like a freak just to hear it. The theatre employees were all giving me dirty looks

Oh it was in the theaters, almost at the very end of the credits roll. The more important question is has anyone figured out how to rip it from the DVD to MP3, yet? I want a copy of that guitar and I don't know how to do it.

Yes -- the theme's appearance is timed with the "Thanks to the crew of the TV series "Firefly"" credit. Very nice that!

Yupper, I posted it a while back, but I shall repost it for you.

Try this. Once you click on the site, it will take about 45 seconds for the site to upload the song. There is a bar on the top right of the screen that counts down until it will say "Click here to download." Also, there is a small box that comes down just before the countdown stops, just click the X to close out of that so you can click to download.

I hope this works for you.

Thank you! I missed this the first time around; it was one of the best pieces of music in the whole bloody film! A sin it wasn't included on the soundtrack.
