I received an mp3 thats contained the "N" word and was misslabeled as an Emerson, lake and Palmer tune.
The "N" word went over the airwaves at least 5 times before I could snatch it. I apologize and will NEVER
air an MP3 sent to me before I listen to it first. I am too trusting. Browncoat radio is down until I purge the offending tune from the drive and from the library for sure. Ruined MY day!

I'll reset the broadcast shortly

Sorry to hear people took advantage of your trust in fellow man :(

I can't for the life of me think what the "N word" could be though...perhaps I'm too nice!

EDIT: Worked it out, it's just not a word you hear in the UK! What an a$$hole!

I did hear that, was hoping like hell it was satire that I just wasn't getting.

Thank you for saying something though, and I understand that things like that can happen.

no offence taken,

Hope you get the station up and running again soon, and don't let an idiot ruin your day.

Tis all good man. It weren't your fault. We all know you're working hard on making Browncoat Radio fun for all of us and like they said, plenty of jerks in this world that tend to find their ways in.

Keep up the good work Mr. Universe! I appreciate what you're doing!

that explains why I can't get the station. That does suck but begs the question, were we supposed to send you the mp3 of our suggestions? It occurs to me (better late than never) that you probably don't have everything that we suggested. Then again, I don't have everything I suggested.

Man, I love Emerson, Lake and Palmer so it kinda ticks me off that some backbirth reprobate of a neanderthal had to go and send ya an mp3 with the N word on it using their label. I hear the N word all the time on the radio when they're playing rap music. I used to find myself offended but I figure I'm not one and some groups of people choose to denigrate themselves and reinforce negative images and use what we used to call trigger words then that's their malfunction, not mine.

Call me crazy but I can see Wash dancing a bit to "Golden Years", David Bowie... perhaps it's just A Knight's Tale bleeding in though.

Browncoats have the best stories. :)

Maybe you can help me. I cant remember the name of the song (its zappa). They played it last on a consert (i saw the DVD at a friends friends boyfriend). The DVD also has "he's so gay". It is the last song on this DVD and that white guy who sings in "he's so gay" sings in this song as well. Usefull info? :)

I just remember loving the song hehe.

I saw the DVD a while ago. Maybe 4 months time or something. but i got the impression he had had it for some time.

Frank had with him a "nerdy" drummer. A little white kid with big glasses. Another white guy on sax and keyboard+singing (amazing voice), 2 black dudes singing and playing guitar. +some other dudes i cant remember.

Did that help?

oh and i just remembered...

if you like Zappa, theres a very good chance you will like Mike Keneally. he is an extreamly tallented guitarist and toured as one of Zappa's guitarists in the 90's before Zappa's death. Mike also played with Steve Vai before he started his own band Mike Keneally & Beer for Dolphins. that group later broke up, and now its the Mike Keneally Band.

give him a listen aat the 24/7 Keneally radio station http://radiokeneally.com/playing.php?buster=06123353242

If you still have problems getting it working you might wanna check your internet security. Because if set to "high" or something it wont promt you to allow active X - which the radio needs you to do.

Take the security down to medium and it will ask you if you will allow aciveX content from that site. Answer "yes" and the radio should work properly without winamp. Hopefully.
