Any time an Airman Basic used to complain about having to salute so much, I'd ask her/him: "Do you know who salutes more than anybody else in the entiredam Air Force? Butter bars (2nd LTs). Think about it. They have to return salute to every enlisted person they cross paths with, and initiate a salute to every officer they meet. I'm surprised their little arms don't fall clean off. Everytime they go outside, they about rupture a rotator cuff. So don't cry to me about having to salute, Airman. At least you don't have to salute every swinging (genital reference) 'buck airman' you meet." Heh-heh.
