Let the Firefly Glow Once More!

OH MY GOD! Joss Whedon and his crew have done it again.

For years now I have been a Buffy and Angel fan and never once did I think anything could top them.

However, low and behold I hear that Joss had made another series and a new movie (Serenity), since the days of Buffy and Angel. Over the Holidays I bought the movie and again OH MY GOD! Never again shall I wash my eyes because that movie was AWESOME! I was automatically hooked and I shall be forever hooked into the Firefly series. I have so far bought the complete series and have watched all the episodes over and over. I am currently working on getting the sound tracks and anything else I can get my hands on.

There hardly any words that come to my mind that explains how amazing and almost magical this show was and still is. Everything about this series works so well and I cannot fathom why anyone would cancel such as show.

I know that I am a newbie to this fan base, but in response to the treads on how much money would you spend to get the show back on the air, I would spend $50 or more (unfortunately in college so cannot spend much more than that) to get Firefly back.

Now, I realize that this tread is kind of long, but I thought since I am joining the ranks that I should introduce my feelings about the show.

Lastly, I want to thanks to whomever started this site and I sincerely hope that Firefly will glow again.

You don't really know how important or great something is until its gone.

You probably know that you're preaching to the choir here, but that's okay. We never get tired of hearing from new Browncoats.

Sit down, take a look around the site (hosted by a fine gentleman called Haken, by the way) and enjoy all the shiny people and goodies.

Then, it'll be time to take up your Browncoat duties: introducing your friends, neighbors, and family to the joy of the Firefly 'verse. We need to spread the word and sell tons of Serenity DVDs (etc.) so the more enlightened entertainment industry execs will see what a great thing they're missing.
