Much the same as the old one, computer programming, just with a completely different company. New job, new salary, new everything except me, really. Oh, and no long drives to-and-from every week; instead, it takes about an hour to drive to work or back home every day.

But no net access. At all. Probably a good idea, but I feel so isolated from everything!

Oh, and WOO!!!

What? Oh, no reason.

Random, my random! I have missed you loonies!

I was down a well of epic unpleasantness for a while, I've mostly recovered from the insanity that is PN now.
This whole 'getting to know you' phase of the site has created some interesting affect for me.
I've been doing research on several topics of urgency...and I've been enjoying life drawing class.
Sounds like you're all fabulous as usual.

Holy UFO...or Venus...possibly the sun...or malevolent lint...over some parts of the big island! And engagements, and accidents, and new jobs, Christmas cards....

I'm still hoping to puddle jump for the cubed, but I'm up in the air about timing. Does anyone know how long a person could put off buying tickets before they're all gone? I understand the meet and greet is gone with the wind, but what about regular tickets? *sighs* best laid plans.

Ok, time to try more of this...because there must be use for some of the these symbols, my computer's crammed with them, and it would be nice to speak math or i-ching...*doubts* *hopes*
? ? ? ?????? ah, well, I guess I get to speak math with myself, at least no one will hear me being that insane.
and if not...

Usually you can leave ticket buying until quite late but it is hard to tell with the Serenity ones. With NFA you could probably leave it until a couple of weeks before the event (but all hotel rooms will be gone). S3, I don't know, maybe June or July? I wouldn't leave it that late though just in case.

It's cold and windy here this morning. But the sun's out. Apparently there was a heavy rainstorm last night.

But this is what I did yesterday: I came home from work, put on my flannels and crawled into bed. Fell asleep for about an hour and half. Woke up to find the grands had vacated the building (found out later that one of my cousins had a basketball game and no one told me. I would have woken up for that.) Had a late dinner of leftovers, checked my email, then went back to bed. Watched Gilmore Girls, read a bit and went back to sleep.

Sleep is a glorious thing.

No, I don't like that. It makes me jealous. The whole "How come they can sleep and I can't?" thing.

My weekend was full of Not Sleeping, so I was trying to make up for lost time.

Live baseball with beer and m&ms. I'm sure they would go equally well with cricket. Or camping, and it doesn't matter what you bring for food, because everything tastes good when you're camping.

Maybe this pizza is one of the healthy pizzas??

Ahh you guys. I see you've had a busy, food oriented day today. I have had a very slooow day. It took forever to end. Tomorrow will make up for it though. Thurdays are always busy!

I have reached writers block stage with my fan fic. (That no one is ever going to read but me before you ask!) It is frustrating me none the less. I can't write fast enough for my brain and then I forget it all.

Morrisons have buy one get one free on After Eights! I bought loads. They'll go nicely with pizza of any kind.

It also means less time to do stuff in the evenings due to everything I have to catch up on. And I'm overdue on writing the next chapter of Bitter Spice as well.

Odds are it's no biggie. I had to have a lot of extra tests done to get on flying status in the USAF because of a heart murmur. It was benign and they told me at the time such things were more common that most people think.

Down with morose!

As I remember it, many heart valves have a bit of cavitation (or bubbles) rather than perfect fluid flow. That's "benign" in that there's no risk of problems involved. As far as "not benign" I really don't know what all that'd entail, except that I believe it's rare.

And I was morose when I woke up this morning. I was having a dream about all these people and places I used to know and it made me miss them all and so I'm just in a funk today. It's not the murmur's fault, entirely.

Pizza? I want pizza! Where's my pizza?
