You are correct about the 1st X-Men movie that she was in, but the 2nd movie I thought she did very well and brought Storm to life.

As long as it's not Alba, I would be interested in seeing it. I have yet to enjoy any of Alba's characters that I've seen...

For comic movies like this, I tend to vote for the unknowns. The new Clark Kent/Superman fits the part, even his voice is similar to Chris Reeves.' I wish they went with an unknown for Spiderman, too...

Like someone posted previously, MB is pretty much unknown to those outside of the 'verse.

I guess we'll see what happens.

Joss said he wants someone young,(early 20's) and unknown. Summer Glau would rule as Wonder Woman. She looks like she came from Paradise Island for crying out loud. Sweet Ketchup, Imagine that outfit on Summer. Joss should at least consider it.

Sorry, but Summer Glau would NOT make a good Wonder Woman, and this is coming from someone who thinks that Summer Glau is an up and coming actress, but Wonder Woman...no.

Funny you should call me that.

When I was a little kid my family called me Don-Don. I suppose that's a common thing, nickname-wise, but in my case it has a back story. It comes from the old Dragnet theme:
Don da-Don-Don... Don da Don Don Donnnn...

I don't disagree on any particular point.

HAHAHA-HAHHAH!!!

Don't make me laugh... it only HOITS when I laughs ...(by way of illustration, my entire right arm is numb due to some nerve injury, my back has been out in response (due to having to rearrange my bodyweight from the arm) for two weeks now and, on top of everything else, a nasty flu-bug for another two weeks... so I'm covered with pain... OH! OH!! and some guy I've heard of - that'd be you - has got the very best VIP tickets to Flanvention II, when I couldn't afford any tickets at all at that time (even though I live just down the sreet from Burbank) and, I do believe that also represents some sort of "pain." Hmmm... I'd consider looking for those things on eBay when the event rolls around but, I can't imagine a self-respecting Browncoat that'd part with one )

So, in conclusion... it only hoits when I laughs

You think studios actually have a clue? This is the same system that is so devoid of originality, that remakes of bad TV shows are the norm for studios these days! Dukes of Hazzard? Bewitched? Studio's follow trends until another trend comes along. Charlies Angels made bank, so all of the studios wanted their own version and mined every 60's and 70's TV show they could get their hands on. Sequels and remakes are the norm. Lets face it! To the studio, Wonder Woman isn't a comic book based movie. It's another remake of a television show!

Alba is what the studio execs think is hot at the Box Office these days (just as Halle was when she was cast for Catwoman). They don't care if she can act. They don't even know she can't. The guys that run studios aren't creative or visionary, they just jump on whatever is hot, and unfortuantely Alba seems to be their "Hot Property" right now!

I'd given some thought to movin' off the edge -- not an ideal location -- thinkin' a place in the middle.

Actually the Character I've been looking at for Summer is a little known Character from the X-Men Evolution series "Nyx"

I think Morena could pull off Wonder Woman. I also think the actress needs to be relatively unknown. And, as much as present company may disagree, Morena fits that bill nicely too.

It would also tell a lot about her range as an actress; Inara is sophisticated, sultry, and sexual. WW would be a more masculine/amazonian role and she would need to show a harder side to her.

Like I said - a good cast if it happens.
