Dong le ma

a sunny saturday afternoon, mid January - not the best time for filling movie theatres anywhere...
and yet there was NOT A SEAT LEFT in the house in the Prince Charles theatre , Leicester Square, London yesterday for our beloved SERENITY still flying on the Big Screen.

Yes , we may be behind the pace of all thats new across the Pond , but if its still showing here - and filling the place,
my guess is that new Browncoats (like my wife as of yesterday) are still being born in movie theatres elsewhere - Cant stop the signal!

How many theatres is the BDM still playing in? How full are they? be good to know...

FWIW, linked off that site is a related Flickr group. SO anyone out there who has been going to see the movie on the big screen, and who has a Flickr account, please join that group and post pictures of going to see the movie on the big screen still.

Well, some of us are even trying to bring it *back* into theaters... convinced the owners of the theater I manager in Philly to bring it back for two showings in our midnight series - Feb. 10th and 11th.

Check out the thread below where I posted about it.

http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=17250

A far hop for those across the pond, but for the folks on these shores, it's a sight easier.

But yes, U.K. Browncoats are impressive. Has Tristram Shandy opened over there yet? Cuz I just saw it in NYC and high hilarity ensued.

Yanks!- click on www.brynmawrfilm.org for directions and come see the BDM in Feb!
