Summer Glau came into my restaurant tonight and I got to introduce myself to her and talk to her for a minute about the show. It was a cool experience and I thought I should share it with true Firefly fans as most of my co-workers hadn't even heard of the show. She was very nice, not pretentious at all like you would expect a movie star to be, and said she had a new project that was coming out this summer.

That is awesome. Did you get an autograph? I am always happy to here when an actor or actress is friendly when you speak to them. Sundance film festival is going on right now where I live and there are some celebrities who don't give people the time of day. It's just another reason why the Firefly cast was perfect.

Metalingus! Hey there!

Anywho, that's SO cool about Summer Glau coming into your work tonight. I pray every day that something interesting will happen at my job (I'm a waitress--plech!). How lucky are you?!

Amen about the Sundance Film Festival. The saddest part about it is that the press, they all come for the really huge stars, and then they leave, like, two days later. They miss the whole point of an indie film fest! Geez!

Wacky fun!

I have been watching the news and it's all about celebrities getting free stuff. It doesn't show the talent that these film makers have. This is an example of the fact that the cast from Firefly are not getting enough credit for their roles. They did an amazing job but aren't getting noticed. I would want a Nathan Fillion or Adam Baldwin in my cast anyday.

What about Alan Tudyk? Or Morena Baccarine? I think that Summer is great, as well as Sean, Ron, and Gina. Who wouldn't want do work with any of them? (Of course, I'm biased.)

Wacky fun!

Alan Tudyk was in I robot did you know that? He did the voice and the motions for Sonny the robot. He did basically a sort of Andy Serkis/Gollum thing. He did an amazing job. They are all good and should get more credit.

Mmmmmm.......Summer!!

Awesome. I've seen a few celebs up close, but never conversed w/ them. I don't know what to say, but then I've never really met a BDH either.

Thank you Piffle nice to be here. Recently intro'd to the firefly verse and I absolutely love it! Sort of a wild coincidence that I saw the movie and the show and week later Summer Glau comes into my work. Anyhow I look forward to keeping an eye on this sight and getting excited about all the false leads on another movie or show. Should be fun.

Thats Awesome.
I remember a few years back I was hangin out on Melrose, just goin to different record stores and clothes etc... Who do I see walking by Sarah Michelle Gellar. Im a big fan of Buffy so I was stoked! Later that night I went on to the Buffy chat and told everyone I saw her. Not a single soul believed me, they thought I was crazy or somethin. I just laughed it off. It was cool.

What, they think celebrities don't go shoppin?

Some people just don't think.

I used to see people all the time when we lived in the Pasadena area. Didn't talk to any of them unless I had another reason (like Tex Cobb was my neighbor's brother and I used to play with his toddler son when they were visiting).
