LADYSINGS

I got hooked on Firefly when it aired on the Sci-Fi channel and have been a Browncoat ever since. My question is this: at the end of the last scene on every episode, you see the words, "Executive Producers---Joss Whedon and Tim Minear"...but when the episodes aired on the Sci-Fi channel, that text did not appear. What did appear was a picture of Serenity. (I have also noticed that they added sound effects during airing that were not on the DVD's)

Does anyone know why Sci-Fi would change this? Why would they not want viewers to know that Joss and Tim were the executive producers? When the episodes were originally aired on FOX, did they do the same thing as Sci-Fi?

It's just a puzzler to me and I just wondered if anybody might know the answer.

Okay, I'm done babbling now.

"Kaylee, find that kid who's takin' a dirt nap with baby Jesus. We need a hood ornament."
