Howdy folks, a newbie here. Hope I'm not causin' you folks to retread well-trodden ground, but I was just curious if anyone has the specifics on the viewer response to the UK Sci-Fi channel airings. I've heard that the exploits of our beloved crew and Cappy have set viewer records for the UK Sci-Fi channel. Any truth to these rumors?

Don't know about the rating but I myself am forever in debt to them for showing such it in the first place, after Sky 1 wouldn't

well i know the first and second episode had the highest ratings for that timeslot for digital viewers and that the channel usually rates below the top 10 in the ratings, but thanks to firefly made the top 3...i read this in an issue of sfx on a page that the sci-fi channel uses to advertise star programmes...firefly has been in that slot ever since it started airing on sci-fi lol :)

hope i was some help!
chris.

Thanks for the info. I hope Fox execs are kicking themselves. Although I suspect that the sort of ratings that are impressive for the Sci-Fi channel are small potatoes at Fox. I'll just pin my hopes on the U.S. Sci-Fi channel following the UK's lead.

My guess is that Sci Fi and possibly other networks will play reruns of Firefly if the movie gets approved. Hell, Fox might even have the balls to show it again, who knows. Of course, I'd be extremely happy if they did and I would send a postcard to Fox telling them so. And, sigh, I would be very very nice.

Great so Firefly is still bringing in beaucoup ratings in the U.K i had heard that only the first 2 episodes kicked that much ass. Good to know the Brits have such good taste.
