Serenity is now on DishNetwork's pay-per-view. Has it appeared on other PPV sites? Does anyone know if the rental of it on satellite has an impact on overall revenue? I guess I kind of assume it doesn't work the same way as ticket or DVD sales because DishNetwork has already negotiated a fee for it with Universal, but perhaps there are places where people keep track of how often it is rented and that would help. Anyone know??

BTW, if you're interested they gave it three stars.

Oh joy!!! I saw a Serenity ad for Pay-Per-View for Adelphia cable. Just seeing it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Then I noticed Galaxy Quest was on! YEAH!!!

Sure, it isn't Firefly or Serenity, but it is one of my favorite Sci-Fi/Spoofy movies. Plus, whenever I think of the future of the verse, the phrase NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER keeps popping into my head.

FOLLOWMAL

I have Mediacom out here in the Biblebelt and it's on pay per view currently. Will be thru the first of the week, and maybe beyond, dunno, my guide won't go that far. It does indeed have 3 stars, I was happy to see that.

I am also interested to know if it helps to rent it. I will do that if it will help Universal see we need more Firefly!

WHISPER

Comcast has all the Firefly episodes plus Serenity on their "On Demand" service. It even has it's very own category! So the selection is "Movies" "HBO Specials" "Firefly/Serenity." Comcast gets major points for that one.
