But my favorite is...
SEAN MAHER!!! Anyone who knows me knows of my crush on Simon. He's such a sweetie... I think it's because of the fact that I'm very much like Kaylee.

You read my mind. I just got into the X-files like two years ago and am now completely obsessed with it. not to mention that David Duchovny was really hot back then. He's like losing hair now, but that's ok. He still looks pretty good.

I also have to say that I am a Sean Maher gal. He's just so sweet and kind and friendly. I can't help but like him based on his personality, not to mention his incredible looks.

Now, this might be sad, but I have a thing for Orlando Bloom. I'm sorry, but he's just so hot. It's like looking at perfection, excluding Sean Maher.

I also, at some weird point in time, had a thing for Michael J. Fox. Why? I don't know. Maybe it was just because I had seen Back to the Future about six hundred bajillion times in a span of one week.

Very cool.

Yeah, I've only just started watching "The X-Files." So I don't know how he looks now. But whatever, man.

I get crushes on weird people. But not as weird as my friend, who has this huge thing for Viggo Mortenson. And she's in High School, like me. Now, I agree that he's pretty good looking in LotR, but seriously. He's in his late 40s. He's as old as her dad. Jeez, his SON is older than she is.

This can easily justify the thing I have for Sean Maher. I mean, he's 30. Compared to Viggo, he's young!

Have you signed the list that people are giving Sean? The list of his fans, or whatever? It seems to be going well, there's already 300 something names.

~A message from Serenyty~

I signed it. Number 13 or something like that on the list.

By the way, my mom (I'm sixteen) has a thing for Viggo. It's really weird. I think she just does it to tease my father though.

I don't think I could ever go for Viggo. He's like in his late forties at least. My mom said he's like almost her age, so she's allowed to like him.

I hope Sean knows that he has such a loving fan base.

Jayne: Are you saying River's a witch?
Wash: Yes, Jayne, she's a witch. She's had congress with the Beast.
Jayne: She's in Congress?
Wash: How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious!

Claudia Black. Dark hair and fab nose.

Claudia Christian in Babylon 5 without the smiling.

Delenn got a lot prettier in her mutant human form.

Na'Toth. Could really give you some serious grief if she felt like it. And, I don't know. She just looks so Vasser / Bryn Mawr / New England.

Chiana. There would have been more description here, but she nicked it.

Zhaan. Classy, spiritual and with an interesting dark (blue) side. (Usual definition of "interesting"). Also scores highly on bracketage.

Rachel Weisz. But only in the first Mummy film. Not so much in the "cast of Desperate Housewives tied to Serenity's nose" look.

Kathleen Turner. Go and watch The Man With Two Brains and Romancing The Stone again. Proper film star, that.

Amelie. You have to have seen Amelie, haven't you?

Lauren Bacall in "To Have and Have Not" Gosh.

Janeane Garofalo in anything.

Joan Cusack stealing any film out from whoever is supposed to be starring in it. And she has the best fansite name ever. "Joan Us or Die" - you'll have to do the Darth Vader voice for the full effect...

Alexander the Great?

oh you win! you win.

on an interesting but not veryrelevent side note, someone started work in my company called Alaexandra Alexandre. why? why! what on earth posesses people to do that to their children?

on an even less rellevent but very exciting and tasy note, I found a recipe for that white stuff that Yosaffbridge makes for Mal in 'Our Mrs Reynolds' the one that Wash goes nuts over -Baozi i think its called. I was so happy, if hotels had cooking facilities I would be making them for everyone at the conventions. As it is, if anyone wants the recipe, just ask!

Curse Seryn's sudden but inevitable (exposure of my) shallowness.

OK, racking the brain for ugly people who I fancy...

Nope, Can't think of any. If I fancy them, I can't find them ugly.

Now, if you want unconventional, I've got Tamsin Greig from Black Books. Pauline McLynn from Father Ted. Michelle Gomez from Green Wing. Katy Murphy. Tilda Swinton. Eddie Reader. PC Cathy Bradford. She was trouble. Alexandra Pigg in Letter to Brezhnev. Roberta Taylor.

Thing is, what I call ugly is if someone has a horrible soul.

That Amber Johanson off The Bill. Total wrong number. I fancy Smithy more. (In a theoretical, deepening voice, scratching self and spitting heterosexually way obviously.)

Oh, and I forgot to put Diana Rigg from the other list.

G

I'm married, I'll have you know. To a woman. Who realises I'm not insecure. Or defensive. Or threatened by her slash writing (which is apparently pretty good). Not that I've ever read any. Just seen the fanmail.

Oh, I wan't talking ugly people, after all Chris Barrie is a very good looking bloke by many standards, he's got all the right features in the right places and he's not leperous or anything.
It was simply a shock, cause the only thing I've ever seen him as is Arnold Rimmer.

so not ugly, but unconventional is good!

so my raging crush on another woman despite our mutual straight staus is all in the interests of equality.

I like.

Here I was thinking it was just a quirk of repressed hormones (yes, thats right, I said repressed, its a pet theory that the reason I fancy so many celebs is cause in real life i'm a chronic commitment phobic and can't bear the though of someone seeing the inside of my bedroom let alone the inside of my head)

But that is good.

Favorite random crush. No laughing (Please). I feel the need to prefix this a little. I'm 28 and happily married (husband doesn't count as a crush.)

Random crush -- the 6 brother in 7 brides for 7 brothers. Gideon I think. I was 12 at the time. He was really cute; don't know about know -- movie was made in 1954.

I never really outgrew my whole Val Kilmer thing; Real Genius, the Saint -- and he's aging well.

And my current one -- the brunnette duke brother from Dukes of Hazzard (the series, not the movie). Tom Wopat. In the '80s he was hot. mmm mmm good; and man that man had a nice set of ab muscles!

Yeah, about the Alan Tudyk part. Sure I'm 16 but I adore him. Ironically I never really realized it until the movie. (not gonna spoil though I hope ya'll have seen it by now!) and even then I thought it was just Wash i was irrevicably and madly in love with. Nope, I was wrong. When I go the chance of a lifetime to see him in Spamalot I jumped at the chance and made sure that my parents knew I was going to stake out the stage door until he appeared so i could leap at him and ask for an autograph and picture.

So we're watching the show in the nosebleed seats. I hogged the binoculars we brought along (embarassing yes, but absolutely necessary) and gazed at his Alaness with awe. Still not realizing that i was obsessed (it takes me a while : ) ) and then the seen with Herbert in the tower...

And the song started about him being gay and I nearly cried. Not Alan! What would I do! I wanted him for me!!! lol. My heart broke...

and then mended again when I got to meet him out side the theatre and get an autograph and a picture like I had planned. Although the whole leaping at him thing (also the part about him falling madly in love with me...) didn't work out. I think the sum total of what I said to him was "hi." and "thank you."

but hey I got a picture! HE TOUCHED ME!. And if anyone of you are wondering if I should be put away, do not fear. I over exaggerated a teensy bit for dramatic purpose and also, my obsession has calmed down now. I (although still do adore Alan Tudyk) have moved on...

*sigh* to Nathan Fillion.

sorry this is so long. thought it made a good random crushes on celebs story.

I've for a long time had a really big crush on Elisabetta Canalis. She's an Italian celebrity and surely one of the most beautiful women ever (apart from that stupid 'Eminem' tattoo on her right arm)! Plus she's my age and we both have two eyes and one mouth, so we're totally meant to be together - right!? Not so much. But...

I find him less "not pretty" every time I see him. Adore the big lug. Even when he's scowling and making horrible wrestling "bad guy" faces. Woo-hoo!

And, of course, I'm inordinately fond of our beloved Jayne, but he's simply beautiful, so that's no stretch of aesthetics. It's as easy as breathing to admire THAT guy.

Psylocke. Purple hair, exceedingly hot asian body, and a british accent? What's not to like?
