It's much easier to say no to a begging request than to tell someone that they're wrong about watching their channel. "No, you're mistaken. You shouldn't watch our network, because we didn't pick up Firefly. Sorry about the misunderstanding." No one wants to say that.

That is truly a grand and devious idea! *snerk* And like all the best evil plans, you can always claim total ignorance and blame it on Kristen's rumours ;p I can't really see a worst-case scenario there...

I intend to beg shamelessly - but politely of course.

Quote: [B}1) In order to keep the show cost efficient, we would get rid of a few things we don't need, like spaceships, floors, and Jewel. (You thought I was gonna say 'costumes', didn't you? Porn guy.) 2) Nathan is busy making movies, but since I don't want new cast members, everybody in the cast would just move over one. Jewel (she's back!) would play Mal, Ron would play Kaylee, Morena would play Book, and so on. Quote: WAIT! What's this about Jewel being back? Did she ever go anywhere? i know she went to maui at the beginning of the year. Is that what joss is talking about? It get that it's humorous. I just don't quite know what's fact and what's fiction. if only the man would devote his entire life to making more episodes of firefly, or a movie or something. oh wait. He already did that? So what was he saying about Jewel? [[KAYLEE's my favorite]]

I love reading his posts about killing puppys and klingons that arn't aliens but are still klingons, how can you not? As for the rumor, one thing that hasn't been addressed is the actual sighting of Nathon, Gina, and Summer leaving the CW building.... Did THIS actully happen? Quote:Originally posted by Zeek: My point is in the details. Notice that's a UPN address. I'm saying I don't think any specific building has been designated as CW yet. Maybe they will just used the old UPN building. Maybe they won't. Though it seems odd that we can't find an address that has CW in it yet a rumor places Nathan, Gina and Summer at this mystical CW building.

Quote:No, there haven't been any overtures from the CW as regards a SereniFly spin-off. I haven't even heard the orchestra tuning up. But if they happen to come calling, I do know what I would do: 1) In order to keep the show cost efficient, we would get rid of a few things we don't need, like spaceships, floors, and Jewel. 3) People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. 4) The actors can make up their dialogue. I'm bushed, and they're all funny, and the hell with it. Maybe I'll give them a premise to work off of, like "You're all in trouble" or "Wash has a thing". They could maybe light it too. 5) Klingons, but not alien Klingons. But still Klingons. So already the show is running like a well oiled companion. I'm just proud to be a part of the Country Western network, and I know this will be their biggest hit since "Have Space-Gun, Will Travel." I hope, as always, this clears things up. And I hope the executives at the Carnie Wilson network DO give me a call. I've got a million ideas for redoing their offices. Power to the people who are powerful enough to crush the other people! -jossy.
Quote:From junglejen9: Firefly. You gotta spill it if you have any additional info, please! I've heard the CW is considering bringing it back as a series, miniseries or movie for next season. Hurrah! For you who missed my message board posting, on Tuesday, Nate Fillion, Summer Glau and Gina Torres were seen coming out of one of the exec buildings at Paramount, where they are putting together the new CW unit.

Even if we don't get our show back, even if the Big Damn Trilogy never gets made, SereniFly will keep going. Why? We've got fanfic, or comics. Grunts like us just too damn stubborn to let this thing we love so well just go. "Love. You can know all the math in the 'Verse, but take a boat in the air you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of worlds.
