After reading Joss's comments about the Saturn Awards and now the CW rumors. It sounds to me like he is somewhat bitter and frustrated. This is the impression I got, I'm not sure that everyone feels like I do but anyway I think we need to act now:

The TV series is not moving forward. The characters are getting older. We need to raise the bar! Get our second wind. Start thinking out of the box, around the box, under the box and in the box. If everybody's thinking alike, somebody isn't thing. A good battle plan today can be better than a perfect plan tomorrow. It's Our Manifest Destiny. Give me a TV series or give me death. Let no man or woman come back alive. Fight and die. We must be heard, write to everybody, anybody… the President, congressmen, senators, networks, Red Cross, Green Peace, Sister Mary Martin, who cares just write. Damn the torpedoes full speed a head. Rule the waves, for king and country; we have not yet begun to fight. I only regret that I have but one live to give. We must get naked. Post the addresses of anyone you can think of from the networks, fellow browncoat SCREWTHEALLIANCE has a form letter that can be used. Post addresses of anybody, it doesn't matter whom. We need signs at sporting events and naked people on the field. Lets get Jet Skywriting, graffiti on walls and Blimps in the air. Never give up never surrender. Gather the troops, form the regiments, rise up! Go Go Go Go. We are not going to take this lying down. We need to spread the message faster than bird flu. Get up get browncoats, move it browncoats. Its hand-to-hand combat. Give no ground, always attack, and never retreat. We must come together and form that which is invincible. The Power of One. No one is going to give it to us, we must take it and ripe it from their throats. Do you want it? Then take it! Lie, cheat, steal, the end will justify the means. This weekend, get on web sites, post messages anywhere, any blog. It doesn't matter what they have to say or what they are talking about, if they are not browncoats then who cares …. The only thing that matters is our mission!!! Write letters, send emails, get naked, and get out. Wear your buttons, shirts and spread the word ………The battle of Serenity starts now….

While I greatly admire your enthusiasm you might want to trade in some of your cliches for a bit of white space, which considering the boards here use a black background really means black space, but I digress. I meant that about enthusiasm though. That's what we need to make people notice our BDH ambitions.

The biilboard is fine, anything and everything.
But its not just LA. We have more to do, we have to be better, work harder, fight longer and the time is right now, not next week. This weekend it starts, the battle begins, the lines are drawn and the die is cast. There is no turning back…. Think think, Firefly/Serenity has already taken over your life! I will not settle for just my DVDs and told to be happy with. I can't, get the verse out of my fucking brain, I have no choice I must go thru with this and I know all of you browncoats feel the same. It has became a part of us and there are trying to kill that good part of us… They are slowly letting us rot. A slow death is the worst death. Like the idea of pitching together and buying a billboard for a while. If we only get one (and face it these things aint cheap) then I think we should have it in LA, preferebly somewhere near the studios or where people who work in TV/Movies drive by alot so that they can see that we are still Holding.

Just do a bit of gureilla artwork on whatever they've got up already. Cheaper that way, just don't get caught. Hehe.

I think the Signal Corps have it right for the moment - post the message on as many sci-fi and firefly related messageboards/forums/newsgroups/collectives as possible, and tell them about Serenity Day, make sure that on that day, as many people as possible buy that DVD.
